NEW CHURCHES ON FIRE FROM INCEPTION

In a vision last night, I saw many 18 wheelers carrying wood construction members to new home sites. New subdivisions. The materials were stacked high on the trucks. 

As the trucks proceeded, they began to run into the electric grid. Many of them ran into the electrical wires and many fires began to happen. 

As I considered that these materials had been trees in the not so distant past and that trees are symbolic for members of the Church, I thought about how this dream is representative of new Churches that are about to spring up that will have been Baptized in Fire. 

Many, many Churches springing up all over that were emersed in Fire at their inception. 

It is going to happen!

TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED!

This dream from about a week ago is another one of my “house” dreams. A house in my dreams is a metaphor for my body, the Body of Christ (the Church) or an actual house. 

This time around, it is the Body of Christ. As I walked around, inspecting, and assessing the condition of the “House” I notice how there were some unsavory looking folks hanging around. They looked to be suspicious and seedy. 

I suggested to them that they were out of place and should move on. Speaking of “moving on,” I decided that it was timed that I did so. As I walked away on out of the back of the building, I found that there was no egress but a wall instead. Nowhere to go. 

When I looked up, I saw that I had been followed (cornered) and that a man dressed in animal skin and with a bobcat on his shoulder stood between me and an exit. This was an alarming thing to see. 

The man then loosed the animal and it charged at and jumped up on me. I caught its’ head in my hands and began to gouge out its’ eyes. I had it under my control. 

When I checked out the status of the hunter, I saw that he had a bow and arrow and that it was pointed at me. I was sure that I was about to die! 

It was then that I heard what sounded like three electronically produced sounds (unlike any I had ever heard). The man fell to the ground, dead. The dream was over. 

The interpretation of this dream is simple. Some of the folks in the church error, and must be admonished. Such admonishment is sure to bring blowback, sometimes serious, at that. 

It is essential in these last days that the Church (The Bride) readies Herself for the Bridegroom!

COVERED WITH THE BLOOD AND STANDING ON THE ROCK

A couple of days ago I dreamt that I was caught in the middle of a battle. I took cover in a bathtub. There was a Baby (Small Child) nearby and the incoming fire struck the Child and as the Child fell into the tub on top of me giving me additional cover, I was covered in Its Blood. 

When that battle was over, I sought for a way to remove myself from the area of the engagement. I was presented with two means of escape. There was a grade level route that seemed fine, and a way that called for standing on a Rock and for help. 

I heard a voice saying that I should stand on the Rock as that would be the safer way and so I did. 

So, let me ask you, is this not a very gracious thing for the Lord to do in showing me how that His Son had endured my pain and shed His Blood to cover me from danger as I lay there is His Manger. Further my protection is ensured when I chose to stand on the Rock of His Salvation. 

For me this is over the top encouragement!

THE INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES

How does one interpret Tongues? This is the question that I hear most often about Speaking in Tongues. 

Tongues, for our purposes here has its first mention in the book of Mark, reading: 

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (Mark 16:17) 

If you are a believer, you should be speaking in Tongues. 

The second mention of Tongues is in the Book of Acts, Chapter 2. 

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 

 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:1-4) 

Speaking in Other Tongues is introduced to the 120 visitors to that Upper Room meeting that day. Those gathered there were from different areas and spoke different languages (tongues). They heard their languages as being spoken by those who did not know their language (vs 5-11). 

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? (Vs 12) 

 Peter said to them: 

 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 

 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 

And on my servants and on my handmaidens, I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: (Acts 2:16-18) 

The essence of the pouring out of the Spirit of God is Tongues. He pours it out incessantly (Acts 2:33). Visions, Dreams, Anointing, Light, Revelation, Faith, Prophecy, Power, Healing, Deliverance, Wisdom, Shalom and much more are the by-production of this “Living Water” (John 7:38). 

God works by His Word (John 1:1-4). The purest form of His Word is Tongues or as He is commonly called, Unknown Tongues. 

The primary use of Tongues equates to Him proclaiming those things which He decrees through His Mouthpiece; His Body, the Church even the Church Members (The Saints). 

These transactions are meant to be done in private. Even when “Speaking in Tongues” happens in the church building during the Assembly it should occur in ones “own space”. 

Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. (1 Corinthians 14:19) 

The Bible tells us that when “Speaking in Tongues in the “open” Assembly there is to be the “Interpretation of Tongues”. 

The Bible says this: 

If any man speaks in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 

But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. (1Corinthians 14:27-28) 

Tongues (divers kinds of Tongues with the word divers being added by the translator) with Interpretation of Tongues is equal to Prophecy. These Spoken Manifestations are given for the edification (building up), exhortation (encouraging) and comfort of the Local Assembly.   

One simple thing to remember is that when Tongues or Divers Kinds of Tongues with the Interpretation of Tongues happens GOD IS ALWAYS IN THE ROOM. 

God is in the room giving the Utterance when meditational Prayer in the Spirit or when Ministerial Tongues with Interpretation happens. 

HE IS GIVING THE UTTERANCE. We, His Body are a co-laborer. His Spirit works through our spirit with the natural tongue being the mechanical part or necessary apparatus for the execution. HE GIVES THE INTERPRETATION. 

We do well to keep our minds (souls) out of this Spiritual/spiritual transaction.

DRIVING TO CHURCH ON MY MATTRESS

In this dream I am on the way to Church. I am driving down the motorway on a mattress. There is light traffic. Just ahead of me is a hippie type on a motorcycle. Another person looked on from his vehicle.

At the stop light It was found out that we are on the way to the same Church. We exchanged some pleasantries and made our way onto the Church property.

The biker easily parked but I was told that my ride required special handling. When I finally found a place to park it was a file cabinet kind of thing in which I had to slide the mattress into.

I was given a key and instructions for retrieving it after church was over. The dream was over.

After pondering this dream for a few moments, the Holy Spirit said to me that the mattress was symbolic of the Gospel (The Word of God). He said that this would not be allowed at that church.

He said that since ones’ mattress is a place of comfort, He thought that it was a great symbol for use in the dream.

We must never compromise the Word of God. We must always keep it with us for the Comfort that is contained in It.

YOU ARE THE POLICE!

On 05/25/2021 I dreamt that when I returned home one night, there were three intruders there. A fight ensued. I fought them off with a sword injuring them and forcing them outside. 

As I continued to fend them off, I shouted to standers by to “call the police.” I shouted this several times. The dream was over. 

As I pondered “what means this Lord?” I felt the Lord saying, “YOU ARE THE POLICE.” 

So, what does it mean? I instantly understood that the dream was a friendly reminder about Ephesians 6:17 “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” 

This we do when wrestling with principalities and powers. 

Further, Ephesians 3:10 says that the manifold wisdom of God is to be made known unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places by the church. 

 Lastly, Luke 9:1-2 says “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.” The King of Heaven authorizes us (The Church) keep the peace on earth “as it is in Heaven.”

WRESTLING BEYOND THE DIMENSION OF THE ENEMY

Last night I dreamed I was to be involved in a wrestling match. I was there, the opponent was there, and the referee was there. 

When the referee signaled for us to start to wrestle, I asked him where we would be wrestling. He said, “right here,” pointing to the floor. When I looked at the floor, I saw a badly worn wrestling mat. I had not noticed it initially. 

I told the referee that I would not wrestle in such a place and demanded a better (nicer) format. The opponent did not say a word. 

In addition to the opponent, the referee and myself, there was also One Other Person nearby looking on from a sound or control booth kind of room. He remained silent. The dream was over. 

I was deeply convicted in my spirit and understood the message that was being conveyed to me by the Lord. 

That badly worn wrestling mat has been in use since the time of Adam and Eve. The opponent’s standing by silently is yet another sign of how he (the devil) uses what may be his best weapon, subtlety. He had had many victories there. 

My demanding of another time and place for this match is symbolic of today’s Church and her unwillingness to stand boldly in all circumstances. It is like we do not know who (Whose) we are or Who lives in us. 

We, the Church, should (in modern vernacular) when told to jump should say, “how high?.” 

We are assured many times in the Bible that we are to be victorious in all things. Here are a few Bible instances: 

And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands. (1Samuel 17:47) 

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. (Romans 16:20) 

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17) 

 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13) 

Given the end-time events of the day such as COVID-19, widespread apostasy, unusual weather, immorality, and such like, I am of the mind that the Rapture of the Church is desperately close. 

But since “no one knows the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power” it is incumbent upon us to start to behave not only as a Confident Church but to proceed as if we are in The Bootcamp of the Millennial Army of God because, we are. 

The Lord has charged us to make known to principalities and powers (the devil) in heavenly places the manifold wisdom of God. We are to pull others out of the fire. We are to trample underfoot the young lion and the dragon. We, being given to God and resisting the devil causes him to flee from us. He will flee to seek safety. 

As we go, we knowing that Jesus Christ is working with us, shall cast the devil out of folks and lay hand on them to see them healed. 

 The Dimension from which we work is not available to the devil for it is from Heaven and of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. 

The devil and the gate of hell is not able to withstand onslaught of the Power from the same. 

Being thoroughly baptized in the Holy Ghost and taking the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit we are strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 

We are able and instructed to and must be willing to steam roll over all the power of the enemy even as an all consuming fire. Nothing shall by any means hurt us.

JUMBO JET CRASHES

Six days ago I had a vision of an airplane crash. The plane was a jumbo jet and the setting was urban.

The plane was flying low before the crash, so was probably near the airport.

The plane broke in half (the fuselage) when it crashed. So there were two large groups of passengers separated from each other and still on board the aircraft. No deceased individuals were presented in the dream.

The first responders apparently lacked the experience to adequately handle the situation so there was some confusion as they awaited more specialized airplane crash responders.

As I analyze this dream for interpretation, my focus in on the fact that there are two large group of people (probably 100 people in each section of the plane). There is a separation of the people and a question as to why and what would be the fate of each group.

THE DOOR

About a week ago I had a dream about a door. Not just any door, it was one of the entry doors to my house. 

In the dream, the door had plumb or square issues. It would not properly close into the frame. Typically, door dreams speak to openings, openings for evil spirits. Given this, though, attention and evaluation to current situations and events are in order. Open doors to opportunities for the good of the Kingdom of Heaven are also real possibilities. 

As with all dreams, prayer is in order. We should always petition the Lord as to what He is teaching us each time we have a dream. 

I thought it to be interesting that a minister friend of mine told of a recent dream he had about, yes, a door. 

He said that he had a dream in which there was a door and that there seemed to be something dark or demonic about the door. He said that once he was able to get a glimpse of the other side of the door that all he could see was a blindingly bright light. 

This one was an easy decision. The dark and menacing door was, in fact, demonic and an obstacle to the Marvelous Light. 

In addition to prayer for help understanding a dream, doing a word study in the bible can also be helpful.

LASER CLUSTER-MISSILES

This dream starts out with people, lots of people, walking through a large ground level mall walkway. 

Everything was peaceful as the folks all headed for a common destination.  

But suddenly there was pandemonium as they started to fall to the floor. They were being hit by small laser-guided spears. These projectiles were launched several at a time. It was a deadly surprise assault. 

Some people hid behind walls and some ducked in through open doors. 

As I thought about what was happening, it was revealed to me that there was another way to get to the Destination. 

There is a River that runs directly under the walkway that was being used by the referenced people and all that went by way of the River arrived safely to the Destination. 

All who chose to travel this way were enclosed into a comfortable Pod. They were egg-shaped and bobbled down the river to the Destination. There were no hazards. 

Once the people arrived at the Destination, they returned to ground level via the stairs. The dream was over. 

Get into the River! 

When thou pass through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walk through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2

Rain Pouring into the House

This morning I dreamed that the it was raining and that water was coming into the house. It was coming in through the roof. I thought this strange as I had had no issues with the roof. I found water coming down the side of walls. There was water in the floor. There was water in the yard. Water coming through the ceiling. There was water everywhere.

There was a call from the next-door neighbor reminding me of some agreement that we had to aid each other in case of such a situation.  I acknowledged the agreement but was only able to concentrate on getting a handle on the matter.

I searched through a dresser for some dry clothes to put on.

A stander-by inquired as to whether there was some coffee. We fumbled around looking for coffee and could not satisfactorily find any. I finally asked my friend to go to Starbucks for some and handed them the money for it. I wanted a big one. My friend was an African.

Everything was wet. The dream was over.

Briefly, just let me say: The house is me or you and the rain (water) is the Holy Spirit. Receive it and rejoice!

“GIVE ME WHAT BELONGS TO ME” A lesson about Tithing

A few days ago, I dreamt that I was gathering the mail from my now deceased father-in-law’s mailbox. The mailman had just delivered the mail. When I opened the mailbox, along with a few assorted pieces of mail there were two large stacks of money. There were thousands and thousands of dollars.

My first thought was “could this be my money?” Wasn’t my mailbox though. As I gathered up the money, two of Mr. A’s children nicked a few bills from the top of one of the bundles. They said, “daddy won’t mind, going to just get a manicure.”

As I went in to present the bundles to Mr. A, we determined that one of them was his and that he didn’t know who the other one belonged to. I guess this meant the other one was mine or at least my job to haphazardly try to find the true owner.

Meanwhile as I had been slow to slide on over to Mr. A his very large pile of green, he said to me sternly, “give me what belongs to me.”

Now, there were other persons in the room. Some were siting at the table where he and I were sitting. Now as I passed his bundle on over to him, he at once started to disperse the smaller bundles from his larger one to those is the room.

These folks were worker associates of his. They apparently did all the legwork and it was time to be paid. He slid money bundles to those at the table and I recall him tossing one over his left shoulder to a person sitting back in the corner.

I knew that this was a lesson about tithing. He went about remitting to those owed at once and fully. I had been asking the Lord to give me clarity about tithing and this was His answer. It was clear to me that I should go at once to the third chapter of the Book of Malachi. Malachi 3 is the go-to text at tithes and offerings time in the Church.

It is my intent to sort through the referenced scripture and to show you what I see but for now, in a few words, what God showed me is that tithing is a principle and mandate for now as it always has been (vs 4).

We are admonished that we will be thoroughly judge and that faithful giving is a thing of righteousness (vs 3).

In verse 6 He says, “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” “Ye sons of Jacob are not consumed” basically means that the tithes and offerings is not a thing of the past but is ongoing. No change.

THE OFFICE BUILDING

This one is interesting. I have not even begun to unpack (interpret) it.

It appears that after a team meeting we all went to view an office building that was possibly to be acquired by us. We found the building to be located on a hillside overlooking the city. I don’t know what city. As it turns out, I was familiar with the building as I had been there at least one time before for a real estate closing. The building was vacant.

As we arrived and walked toward the building we could see that the cleaning man was just finishing up and about to leave. He did, however, seem puzzled as he saw us walking up as we were perhaps three or four adults, a couple of small children, a couple of clowns and a lion (I may have to uppercase the “l” here later).

He (the cleaning man)  was  having no part of letting us in. As we walked around the building we could see that it was in a state of disrepair – sort of rough around the edges. In fact, when we got around to the back of the building we saw how that part of the back side of it about eight feet square was  able to be slid  out from it so as to allow entry (remember this is a dream).

The building was of concrete block construction. We view it briefly from just inside the referenced opening. The dream was over.

Some dreams are reasonably vivid and gives the impression that they must be logged. This is one of them. I fully expect to do a follow-up to this dream. We really do want to know what the clowns mean, don’t we?

APPETENCIOUS

Do you know this word, appetencious? Neither did I until God showed it to me in a dream.

In October of 2006 I dreamt that I was in the bank to get a check. Apparently some bad checks has been drawn on the account and I had to go around and around with the fellow in the bank to convince him that I hadn’t written those checks demanding that he provide me with the check that I needed.

Finally he said “okay here is the check but I am going to make it out to APPETENCIOUS.”  This made me mad (mad not good) so I told him that I would not take a check made out that way and I left the bank without the check. I thought to get the necessary funds some other way. Dream over.

From time to time the Lord will give me a word in a dream, usually one that I am not familiar with, that I know is intended to teach me something. For this reason, I inquired of the Lord as to what he was saying to me by using that word in the dream.

I found that the dream had complexities. Let’s look at the definition of the word appetence from dictionary.com first, means:

intense desire; strong natural craving; appetite.
instinctive inclination or natural tendency.
material or chemical attraction or affinity.

So what does one thing have to do with the other? Here is how I see it. My aim was to acquire a check, for whatever the reason. I was adamantly opposed to compromise my wish to have the check just as requested and I left the bank without a check instead.

It appears that the Lord’s message to me is that He recognizes or that I should recognize the passion and compassion that is in my heart to fulfill that which I am called to complete pertaining to Kingdom Business. I have no desire to, neither will I, compromise that which I am appointed to do.

Where You Go, I Go

And it came to pass, when the Lord would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.
And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.                                                                  And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; ( 2 Kings 2:1-3, 11-13)

In February 0f 2007 the Lord spoke 2 Kings chapter 2 to me. Upon refreshing my memory regarding this scriptural passage, I understood that it is important to have a mentor (spiritual father or mother) and that it is important to stay near them, lest they be taken up in your absence.

Additionally, that night I dreamed that I was taking a karate class and that the instructor had to leave and instructed me that I was to take over the class. I told him that I was not experience enough to take over the class. He instructed me that he would help me and that I would be well able to take over.

Now, here it is 12 years later and I believe that the Lord is about to launch me into a level of ministry that I can in no wise handle on my own. I am now reminded of this scripture:

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

This particular dream has some very detail symbols for an interpretation that I can not divulge now but am prayerful that I may revisit it and open it up soon.

MONEY VISION

Last night I had just a quick vision. What I saw was a hand handing me money. It was a fist full of assorted denominations of paper bills.

The dream was over.

GO PLAY LITTLE BABY

This dream happened in August of 2001. The dream was about a baby. Baby dreams are common, and I believe that baby dreams can sometimes actually be about ” a baby” or that the baby is symbolic of, for example, new endeavors such as jobs or ministries and so forth. 

In the dream, the baby had broken arms and legs and was laying on a table. Well, the poor baby fell off the table. When the baby fell off the table, I went and prayed to the Living God of Heaven that He would heal the baby. 

I commanded the baby’s nerves, bones, and muscles to heal in the name of Jesus Christ. When I did that, the baby rolled over and got up and walked away. What do you think of that?

On October 10, 2002 I dreamed that I was in a setting with a group of people when suddenly a big Rottweiler dog came and grabbed a baby and began to shake it violently. I rebuked it and commanded it to let the baby go and so it did.

Most of the other people there were terrified. Then the dog grabbed the head — yes head. Now it didn’t have a body. I rebuked the dog again and commanded that it loose the head and so it did and began to squirm away.

Interestingly as the dog passed by me and its hinder part became visible to me I could see that the rear part of its body was crippled. It was literally dragging the back half of its body on the ground. It put on the vicious front appearance. Boy did it look intimidating! A clear example of all bark and no bite.

The interpretation of this dream has to do with some events that happened at a Church that I once attended. The baby was the church. The baby’s head was the Pastor. The Rottweiler was the demonic church doctrine of the overseeing church.

Things did not end well.

On the referenced night I dreamed about being with another couple in which the wife was pregnant. We were in a high place (like on a spiral staircase) and the lady wanted to get down and thought to jump. I told her not to jump because she could hurt herself and/or the baby.

She jumped anyway and surprisingly her husband caught her as if it was nothing. Also in the dream PG&E offered my spouse a job — and for some reason I was willing to take a position as a sales person for some company (for the right salary).

Lastly — in the dream — I was shaking hands with Chris Tucker, the actor from the movie Rush Hour with Jackie Chan. Dream over.

Here is the likely interpretation of the dream. The high place is the level of the calling. The wife is the saint (be it me or you). The baby is the new ministry assignment.

This is all about one running away from the purpose of God. The husband is the Bridegroom (the Lord). Here, the Bridegroom catches the Bride (the saint) as it is a small thing for God to perform His purpose in us.

The movie itself has nothing to do with the dream or interpretation of it. The symbol is the word rush. We are to move higher and higher as God fulfills His purpose in us. We must remain patient as He does so. We must not compromise or forsake that to which The father has called us for mammon. We need not be in a rush.

Do Your Job

Early this morning I had a dream. The setting of the dream was that of an office or workplace. The boss or supervisor of the business had found fault with the production and called for some improvement. 

The format or process of production needed tweaking and he wanted us to work overtime to initiate the new protocol. My job was to oversee and ensure that things were set in motion and to assure that there would be success. 

As I passed by the boss’s office, I saw that he had not gone home yet and that he wanted to be sure that we were getting the job done and getting it done right — before he left. He was seated at his desk with his feet up on it. 

I said to him “Sir you can go on home; we will get this done right.” He removed his feet from the desk, stood up and left. 

What does it mean? Here are a couple of scriptures and I will meet you on the other side with the interpretation: 

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (1 John 3:7-9) 

And to make all men see what the fellowship of the mystery is, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (Ephesians 3: 9-12) 

This dream is symbolic of us (The Church) not doing a particularly good job thus far pertaining to finishing the work of The Lord’s “destroying the works of the devil.” Further, as we complete this task we should go “making known to the enemy the manifold wisdom of God“. 

We should do our job and not have Him micromanage our every activity. His instructions are clear! 

Besides, remember that He said this: 

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14: 1-3). 

Let us do this!

Yesterday I had a dream in which the setting was a rural one. I am reminded of the hill country of West Virginia. Our property was on the hillside. The time was as days gone by. I was a young lad. 

One day by brother and I ventured off onto the property of one of our neighbors and corrupted it in some way: not in a very malicious way — but non-the less. We were doing just the kind of thing that you might expect young boys to do. We were doing something that Dad had told us not to do. Dad was a disciplinarian. 

Word got back to Dad of what had happened and somehow, we knew it and we also knew that we would be dealt with by dad when he got home. 

That evening we saw dad coming home up the hill in the distance and I knew that I best not be home when he got there. I took off, further up the hill, and across a stream to my friend’s house and right past my friend’s brother that was fishing on the bridge. I continued across the property of our neighbors and over to the separate living quarters of my friend, their son. 

In my haste to elude by father, I barely knocked on the door before entering and discovered that he was not home. 

So now look at me! I have trespassed on one neighbor’s property and done the same thing on yet another’s. The root of these misdoings (this could be called by another name, or two), disobedience. Here is what one prophet told a disobedient king in the Bible when that king failed to follow the instructions of God: 

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king. (1 Samuel 15:23) 

Disobedience before the Lord is NOT a good thing. I repent, here and now before the Lord. I ask for forgiveness. I beg of the Lord that He will strengthen me to do as I am told, not doubting. I resolve to move forward earnestly and expeditiously in the ministry to which I have been called. 

May all the Glory be to God!

Round Turn and Two Half-Hitches Knot-Frayed Knot

Last night — actually, first thing this morning — I dreamed that I was trying to tie a knot. It was the knot that is referenced in the subject of this post. There are at least two dream symbols in the subject.

I suppose that this knot is primarily use by boaters but certainly there are other applications. It is an easy knot to tie and solid in terms of meeting the typically desired result.

Essentially, you tie the rope around and around a post (for example) and then under, around and through the rope, and again. Yea, “what did he say?” Well, just look at this and remember to hit the back key when done.

Here is the thing. The rope that I was using in my dream was frayed. As I tried to complete the tying of my knot the frayed part of the rope kept getting in the way. I needed a longer rope. I did not complete the tying of the knot in the dream.

Did you hear what I just said? “Tying of the Knot”. Search that one out on your own time!

As I studied this dream out (which was not my initial intent), I ran across this definition in Vocabulary.com:

The word fray is all about friction. A frayed rope has been rubbed so much its fibers are wearing away. People experiencing friction are involved in a fray, or a noisy fight.

This is one of those dreams that I seriously thought to dismiss upon it’s occurrence but the clarity of it was a sure sign that I should pray and ask God for the interpretation. It certainly pertains to my personal life and was sent for guidance. It requires further meditation and prayer on my part.

If you are reading this, then this is a very important lesson for you. Namely, we must take all of our dreams seriously. This applies especially to those that come so vividly to us. We must isolate out the dream symbols. Ponder and research them. Consider how they relate to our lives, past, present and future.

This particular dream was so simple, so filled with dream symbols and so important for my well being.

Dreams are the most important and most squandered of our communications from God.

The setting of this dream is Africa. I am not sure what country or city. I am likely there for a Christian Conference of some sort. One note of interpretation for this dream is

During my two or three days visit there, a friend has arranged for me to stay at the home of a relative of His. His home was close by. This arrangement went well and I was able to come and go as I pleased.

On the last day of my visit as I walked through the home exploring it more thoroughly than I had before, I saw what appeared to be a lady taking a bath in another part of the house. The partitions were opaque. I thought this to be odd as I thought the whole time that I was the only person staying in the home at the time.

Fast forward to the next part of the dream and I am sitting on a couch chatting with the woman and her husband. They were visiting there from Louisiana. They had come in support of their young daughter (probably about 12 years old) who was an entertainer or athlete. Making the trip to Africa for them meant some sacrifice but they persisted nonetheless.

Another thing of note is that the mother/wife had a noticeable limp or problem with her leg and I prayed with them regarding that matter.

It appears that they had evening activities that night, as did I and as I, and we were all exiting the house to our respective modes of transportation.

As a side note to the intended context or message to the dream, we all walked into the front yard of the house. As we did so, a car drove by and parked on the lawn of the house that is next door to the left. It was a vintage German or European made sedan — with the it’s older age and faded paint being of note.

The driver of the car was the unfriendly sort. He quietly moved into the house in which the yard was not well kept — an eyesore, no less. I include this entire observation because it was a part of the dream. I don’t know what it means, but I will one day.

Now back to the story. We were all now out in front of the house. There were the couple and their young daughter, the person who was to be their driver and another man that had on some distinctive looking glasses — very nice wire-framed glasses. Don’t you just love these symbols?

KNOCK, KNOCK – JUST A QUIET SATURDAY MORNING

Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.
Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) (John 7:37-39). 

 

During the first week of February 2019, I had a dream in which it seemed like a quiet Saturday morning. I and a couple of my family members were just talking, getting coffee, and working on breakfast – you know, Saturday morning stuff. 

Our house was built on an incline or down-sloping hill. As I looked out of a side window, I saw water rushing down the side of the house. A great rain event had occurred. The level of the water was high and was a cause for concern. 

Just as I was communicating my concern to my family, there was a knock on the front door. I had some concern as there was already water coming into the house between the threshold and door. I nonetheless opened the door to let the person at the door in after discovering that It was someone that we knew. 

I opened the door and pulled the person in fast and closed the door. By then the water was a foot or more deep inside the house. The dream was over. 

The above scriptural passages came to mind. The onslaught of Water near and in my house is none other than the Holy Spirit. 

Further, increasingly I am coming to understand that a “house” in a dream oftentimes is referring to one’s body, a spiritual house as it were. 

Noteworthy, too is the fact that many theologians agree that the end time is at hand. Is eminent. The outpouring of the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) is to be expected right about now. Signs and wonders are become manifest.

A Different Kind of Angel

Last night’s dream went like this: My uncle, brother and one or two other people were on a road trip. My brother was driving. My uncle was sitting in the back seat, and I was sitting in the front seat. 

The car was a very modern one as the navigation was accomplished partially by viewing digital monitors. The terrain was depicted in two different versions on these monitors. One version was abstract and not intended for following while proceeding on the road. The second monitor was the one that should have been followed. 

Let me take this opportunity to remind you that this is a dream abstraction is present. As we proceeded, my uncle expressed concern as my brother repeatedly was using the wrong monitor (the one that did not depict the road as it was) and this was sure to cause us to crash. 

I advised my brother that we should pull over so that I could drive as he was not driving safely. So, we pulled over. We were at the top of an incline as we pulled over. While we were in the process of changing drivers, everyone else in the car got out to stretch. 

As my brother entered on the passenger side and I took a position in the driver’s seat, the car started to roll backwards. The car’s gears had slipped into reverse. My uncle and the other passengers were left standing on the side of the road. The car was rolling fast and applying the brakes was not stopping it. 

I tried putting the car into drive which obviously was not a clever idea as it was likely to severely damage the transmission. That, of course, did not help. 

I then had the idea to abruptly swing the car around to have it pointed up hill rear end first in hopes that this would slow the momentum of the vehicle. This would be all but impossible to do as the road on which we were traveling was a two-lane road. 

None-the-less, sure enough it worked, and we were not moving backwards, and the car slowed down. We were able to get it stopped and to correct our direction and pick up the rest of our party. 

Strangely, as we were transitioning the car back into control, there was this old lady standing right there in the middle of the road (during the whole event). She was right there, expressionless. I did sense a spirit of polite reprimand. 

This is one of those dreams that I feel compelled to share. The lessons herein have applications for individual life as well as for family and the church. Examples of these are, staying with reality and keeping it separate from digital projections, speak up when those around you error to save your life, respect the wisdom of your elders, keep your head in the game (do not give up in trying times) and make the hard decision when it is obviously necessary to do so. 

Finally, expect Help in the face of an emergency and recognize that God or His Angels may appear to you in any form–even as an Old Lady!

Dark Speech in a Dream

Paying close attention to our dreams and not hastily judging that a particular dream is one that you prefer not to share with others or is otherwise worth considering is a mistake. Always remember that God speaks to us to a great extent by symbols in dreams and visions. 

We should always write our dreams down and go back to them from time to time to review them and receive additional light and revelation from them as will often be the case. 

Dreams are not unlike a Rhema Word. A Rhema Word is alive. It is a living thing proceeding from the Mouth of God. So are dreams – the worthwhile ones. They are chapters added to time – implanted in as God sees fit – foreordained before the foundation of the world. 

So, you see, this ever so important phenomena that we refer to as the dream might well be the most squandered of the Spiritual Gifts of God, The Holy Spirit. And yes, I said Spiritual Gifts, for incorporated within the dream are often Words of Knowledge, Words of Wisdom, Discerning of Spirits and so forth. 

It is important now though, that I tell you about my most recent dream. On January 14, 2019. In the dream, I found myself loitering around in a furniture store. The store was on the basement level. I did not work there but I was going around from one piece of furniture, having a hardwood-stained surface, to the other. 

I was waxing the furniture. My intent was to obtain a perfect finish to the pieces, and I know this to sometimes be difficult. Again, I did not work there so was unauthorized. Once my scheme was exposed, I found my way up the stairs and out of the store to the street in an urban setting. 

I was nicely dressed in an expensive suit and conducted myself haughtily as I made my way to my car. There were folks going about their business present on the street. Some of them were sort hanging or “chilling” as they say. 

As I arrived at my car, I found the passenger side door wide open, and the trunk (boot) was as well. I thought, “someone has broken into and striped my car.” I approached it slowly and found it to be intact – you know, with all the seats, electronics, wheels, and stuff still in place. 

As I proceeded to button the car up to get away from that place before the perpetrators arrived back, but they got back before I left. They were not done. There were three of them. They saw that I was back but still desired to finish what they had started. 

While two of them waited in their car, the third one approached my car and I confronted him from the inside of it and at the passenger side window and grabbed him forcefully in his collar. The dream was over. 

Wow, huh? I was ready to chuck this dream. Now you see why I introduced this post such as I did. We must learn to pay attention and let the Lord further expound as to what He is trying to convey to us. We should ask God to give us light regarding every dream that we have without fail. 

While I am sure that the waxing matter and the attempted car vandalizing and the three bad guys and the haughty attitude etc. all have symbolic meanings, let me tell you what I do know and did learn from the dream. 

My car in the dream was a late 90’s model Lincoln Mark VIII (photo inserted below). I did not know the details about the car other than it was a Lincoln until I looked it up on Google. Once I was able to view the car that was very vivid in the dream, I was able to know that it is a Mark VIII, it was easy for me to figured out at least one of the things that the Lord was trying to show me. 

He was instructing me to read from the Book of Mark, Chapter Eight. The number eight in Biblical numerology means new beginnings. Aside from that, though, what I found as I read the chapter is that despite miracle after miracle done in the seeing of the disciples there was a lack of comprehension of the same. 

The disciples had difficulties transitioning to a spiritual position of faith. The Lord admonished them to focus on the things of God and not the things of the world, to pick up their cross and follow Him, to deny themselves, to be willing to lose their lives for His sake and for the sake of the Gospel. 

He said, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (vs. 36) 

In Mark 8, Jesus feeds the 4000 people with seven loaves and few small fishes and had seven baskets of leftovers. On another occasion he fed 5000 folks with five loaves having 12 baskets of fragments left. This was because they were concerned about having brought only one loaf with them on their most recent trip. 

Long story short; Our Lord and God is All Sufficient, intimately attentive to our needs, loved us to death and will return shortly in the Glory of the Father and with the Holy Angels.

BE KIND TO STRANGERS!

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. (Hebrews 13)  

Last night I dreamt that we were visiting out of town to attend a stadium ball game. For some reason I had to leave the game and attend to an errand. 

The setting for the event was a large city. I was not familiar with the city and was having some difficulty finding my way back to the venue. 

As I made my way back, I encountered a person whose intent it was to rob me or do me harm otherwise. He had a gun. Somehow, I managed to get away from that person with the help of a stranger. 

Still trying to make my way back to the stadium and from the higher vantage point that I was at currently at, I could look downward and see it.    

As I travel on in the direction of the park, I spotted a church off to my right. I could hear that they were having praise and worship and I was impressed that their service was anointed. 

I would have liked to visit the church, but I needed to proceed to get back to my party at the game. The complex was not now visible from where I was but traveling in the perceived direction of the desired position I moved forward. 

I came upon a park-like location near where I expected the stadium to be and encountered an old man. He was the friendly sort and was just hanging out at that location. I was now disappointed as I thought for sure that I was close to the stadium complex, though I could not see it. 

Shortly thereafter another person that also was looking for the stadium appeared and was dumbfounded as was I. 

The old man, from whom pure love emanated, smiled at us, and pointed across the street and there was the stadium complex in all its Glory. Our eyes had been opened. 

What does it all mean? Long story short, the Lord is providing me with more assurance and encouragement pertaining to my relationship to the Local Assembly (the Church) and is showing me how that I will from time to time need to travel from the Assembly to other locations and will experience resistance and danger but will have the ever-present Wisdom of the Holy Spirit and protection of the Angels. 

That I will experience other Churches of like precious  faith  during my travels and shall be encouraged by the same. That there will be times when I will not clearly see a sure victory or that thing which I hope for and must rely upon Faith to walk by rather than sight.

The Devil, The Church, The Holy Spirit & Me

On 11/27/2018 I had a three-part dream. I dreamt that there was a visitor at our house. He was initially received as an ordinary guest. 

Soon thereafter, I noticed him observing a female child with great interest as she took a shower. I admonished him for doing so and requested that he move on, and so he did. This was part one of the dream. 

In part two of the dream, I observed our guest again watching intently as the young girl took a shower. This time I advise the visitor that he was to leave the premises immediately and never to return. 

In part three of the dream, I observed two men from my vantage point on a second level balcony arriving in a pickup truck down below. They had come to retrieve a bucket that I had prepared for them. I must tell you that preparation of the bucket required some welding. 

As I grabbed the bucket that was full of water from the counter and proceeded to carry it out to them, I noticed that there was water leaking from it through a hole that was about the size of a quarter. 

I was disturbed that the bucket was leaking and knew that I could not deliver it to the men in that condition. As I pondered the situation, the dream was over. 

While it is reasonable to assume that this dream has some application pertaining to my own life, let me tell you what I believe the Holy Spirit would have me share with you regarding it. 

The young girl is the Church. The visitor is the devil. Looks like I am standing in as a leader in the Church and have done a poor job of teaching the laity regarding the Holy Spirit. Instead of Him (The Holy Spirit) overflowing the bucket, His Power is being diminished by the breech in the bottom of the bucket. 

This phenomenon of the enemy creeping in unawares is widespread and residual damage could remain after he has been dealt with. Continuous vigilance is imperative.

The Wind and the Sun

Last night when the Father gave me this dream, I thought huh? what? 

Here it is. What I initially saw was a vessel (vehicle of sorts) that looked like the Wright brother’s airplane. The creator (entrepreneur) of the craft was doing some initial testing of the design by harnessing available wind at the ground level. 

As the wind blew the craft began to move. Because the initial experiment was in an urban area there were starts and stops to avoid buildings to change direction for farther forward movement. 

It is at this time that I came upon the scene and encountered the gentleman that was working on this project. As we discussed his endeavor, he began to show me what looked like solar panels and he explained to me that he expected to harness energy from the sun that would cause his contraption to soar. The dream was over! 

Yep, like I said, huh? what? 

Did not seem so simple initially but the interpretation of the dream is quite simple; the Father was talking about Himself in the Form of His Spirit and His Son — the wind and the sun. 

I originally posted this on Oct 27, 2018, and now here it is a year and a half later (4/13/2020) and the Lord is giving me Light that the Solar Panels are my inner man having been built up in my most Holy Faith by praying in the Spirit (Praying in Tongues). 

The Father wishes us (the Ecclesia) to consider and put into perspective all His Attributes for a more complete walk and relationship with him so that we may soar Spiritually. 

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

ALL SPARKS, NO FIRE!

Strong’s Concordance defines FIRE as “supernatural fire (accompanying theophany)”. Theophany is defined on Dictionary.com as “manifestation or appearance of God or a god to a person”.

Last night’s dream went like this. A group returning from an outing included a young boy who was about eight years old. The report about the child was that he had been unruly during the trip.

When a senior lady of the organization pulled the young man aside to discuss his behavior with him, he pulled out a cigarette lighter and began to flick it to light it. There were sparks, but no ignition – no flame – no Fire. Some how this action dramatically scared the lady and she ran off hysterically.

A second counselor of the organization had no success in getting the kid under control. Upon seeing this and as the boy continued to try and ignite the lighter, one of the male counselors of the organization shouted, “call the cops”. The counselor reconsidered though. The dream was over.

This dream comes on the heels of a revival meeting that I attended last night at a local church. The denomination was not apparent but there was a Baptist flavor present. As I believe it to be custom at revival meetings, the speaker was a visiting one. His scriptural reference was 2 Corinthians 12 — Paul’s thorn in the flesh.

Ministers of Churches such as this one are prone to flow into a method of preaching that is referred to as “hooping”. This service was no exception. Preaching of this type is soulical arousing the emotions of the folks. The “feel good” is short lived. Lots of flicking takes place but no Fire happens.

Given the title of this post, let me just say that I have come to know that there are two ways to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These are expository or expositional and Spiritual. Expository preaching in done in the strength of man and his knowledge of the Bible. The logos word (letter) is present but the Rhema Word (Spirit) is not. Lots of flicking but no fire.

Spiritual preaching in done in the Strength of or by the Anointing of Jesus Christ through and co-laboring with the man. Essentially It is God speaking, being tempered by an earthen vessel.

The Eternal Fire Himself is manifest empowering them that hear.

Danger Ahead

The Lord often gives us dreams showing impending danger. The first dream of this nature in the bible is one that a nice person by the name of Abimelech had. 

He had found Abraham’s wife Sarah to be quite attractive and since Abraham had falsely said that she was his sister (this was partially true, as Abraham and Sarah had the same father). Abimelech sent and took Sarah. She was Abraham’s wife though. 

That night God came to him in dream and said “Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.” Now Abimelech had not gone into Sarah because God did not allow it and was able to return her to Abraham and to save his life. The repercussions of a violation by Abimelech would have been catastrophic not only because Abimelech would have died but also the harm that would have come to his country. Several years ago, a couple, friends of mine, were planning a move to a location in which job opportunities would be better for them. They are both MBA’s. 

A job opportunity for them became available in New York. They started talking about it and making plans to move there. 

While this was happening, the Lord spoke to me in a dream regarding them saying just one word, “Chicago“. I advised them of what God had said suggested that their purpose was to be in Chicago rather than New York. 

Almost immediately they got job offers from Chicago. They moved to Chicago and are still there ten years later. 

Last week I had recurring dreams (doubled). It was about a friend that I went to school with many years ago. We have not been in recent contact but were good friends.  

You have heard me say in the past that when I dream about someone that I know or someone that I do not know (sometimes God just gives me a name) I realize that the Lord wants me to pray for that person. 

I have prayed for him. I took it a step further and tried calling him using a number that I got off the internet. I left a message and hope that he calls me back. I will bet you 25 cents that he has been going through something and the Lord needed someone in the earth to pray and give Him permission to intercede.  

I will be able to assure him the God is concerned about him and has handled the situation; whatever it was! 

If you have a dream that includes sad news, take it to the Lord and give Him permission to re-write the script.

CHURCH BURNS, PASTOR DIES

Yesterday at church the Pastor began his message by telling a dream that he had the night before. He said that in the dream he saw a church on fire. 

He said that he observed children playing in the ashes of the church. It was at that time that I looked back at the sound booth wondering if they were recording. I wanted to have a record of all the details of the dream. Not determined. 

The Pastor said that as he pondered the meaning of the dream, he heard a man say with an African accent that it is an American church that is burning. That was basically the dream. He did speak briefly with concern as to the interpretation of the dream. 

The Pastor spoke on sanctification. Lesson title was Becoming Christ Like; Spiritual maturation by the Lord through washing, sanctification, and justification. 

At the conclusion of the service the Pastor inquired as to whether there were any testimonies. A lady got up and talked about recurring dreams that she had been having. She dreamed that Pastors were dying in unusually large numbers. She states that she dreamed that a very well-known pastor had passed away. She did not reveal the name. 

What is God trying to tell us about the Church?

He Has Done It Again! (A Two-fer)

Last night I dreamt the following regarding a young man that I know. In the dream he was preparing to drive off to a destination. He was in a large parking lot.

Beyond the lot where he was there was a gun battle pursuing that was beyond his ability to hear. I noticed that he was once struck from behind by what appears to have been a superficial perforating bullet. Not fully knowing what had happened he turned around and after seeing that there was a problem was stricken again. As he was about to run for cover, he was again hit by a projectile in the back and he went down. I was devastated.

As I was now awake, I knew immediately that the Holy Spirit was bringing to my attention some impending danger to the young man and I immediately began to pray. As I recall, I prayed in the understanding (English) and I prayed in tongues. Praying gives God authority to act in the natural realm.

Since I now know that the Holy Spirit won’t show you impending danger unless He is at the ready to intervene on your behalf (or on the behalf of the  person in need of the intervention) and after praying I was confident that this matter was (or was to be) taken care of. I also fully knew that in due time the Lord would reveal to me the circumstances confirming the matter. I went back to sleep.

Part 2: Upon gong back to sleep I had another dream. In this dream, the same young man of the part one dream is the subject. He is again about to get into his car to go to a destination. As he approaches his car he encounters a very menacing dog – a bulldog or pit-bull perhaps. The young man stood his ground but the dog continued to advance. That is when I went into action. I had some kind of cushiony object attached to a stick in my hand and I charged after the dog with it.

The dog retreated and I surmised and suggested to the standers-by that it was ill and should be taken to the doctor (vet). The young man safely jumped into his car and went about his business.

Do you see what just happened? The Holy Spirit (Jesus Christ Himself) alerted me to an impending occurrence of certain danger so I could ask Him and give him permission to intervene. Because of His Caring Spirit, He not only managed the matter but chose not to have me wait until a later date for assurance of that fact.

The Lord revealed to me in back to back dreams a problem and its resolution.

As a side note; I had a brief conservation with the young man this morning and was able to determined that in fact he had been encountering spiritual warfare and had also received confirming word from the Lord releasing a burden that he had been carrying.

If you are reading this, it is meant to be a lesson to you and assurance that Gods desire is to be closer to us than a friend and that if sought, He will be found. No weapon formed against you shall prosper!

A Fish Out of Water

Last night I dreamed that I was down at the coast. I was on some sort of platform that was adjacent to the water – a dock of sorts. I am not sure about whether I was fishing or not.

Suddenly there was a big (really big) fish up on the dock and it was trying to get me. It was big enough that if It would have been able to maneuver around a little better I would have been a goner. It’s mouth was big enough to swallow me whole.

I recall striking the monster fish on it’s lips with an object. I was fighting for my safety.

Some of the symbols in this dream are obviously the fish, why it was out of the water, the dock, why was the fish trying to absorb me, the limited ability of the fish to move, the actual location or setting means something that needs to be deciphered and there are other considerations as well.

As I believe the dream to be of the Holy Spirit, the essential question is how does it pertain to my calling to promote the Spiritual growth of the Church.

Well that didn’t take long! Two nights ago I got a call from a publishing company. Stone something or another; a nice fellow by the name of Marcus D calling to let me know that my book, Utterance, Speaking in Tongues and Spiritual Gifts had come to his desk recommended by several book scalpers to have good success potential. They (Stone) were going to help me to get the book exposure and even have it displayed at the London Book Fair. There was even talk that perhaps a traditional publisher would pick it up and offer $35,000 to $250,000 signing bonus.

All indications are that the company is a scam.

Thank you Holy Spirit for the “heads up”.

Blue, Yellow and White

In a previous post I talked about a dream that I had in which during my visit to a church while I spent a moment seated in the foyer the palms of my hands began to change colors. 

I said that initially they turned blue, and I mentioned how they also had texture that was like a low cropped fur. My hands then turned yellow and after that they turned white. Lastly, my hands returned to their original color and texture. But now there was power in my hands. I know now, too, that the more appropriate way to voice this is to say that there was Power through my hands. 

I pondered the meaning of the colors for some time and am now satisfied as to what they symbolize. Biblically speaking, blue is thought to be symbolic of Jesus Christ, Healing and Authority. Blue is the most frequently mentioned color in the Bible.  

Yellow is symbolic of Fire (Holy Ghost Fire) for purifying, burning away impurities and for Anointing and/or Power.  

White is representative of Purity, Glory and Brightness and thought to symbolize God the Father and Godliness. White is the third most referenced color in the bible behind red. The presented interpretations should not be considered a complete list of those possible for the referenced colors. 

So, you see, healing and delivering folks by the laying on of hands brings the Whole of the Godhead into their lives. The Authority, Power and Glory of God leaves no crevice for illness, injury, or demonic spirit to hide or abide with them.

LIEGE revisited

Several years ago I had a dream or perhaps a vision in which the only message was the word LIEGE.
Now this is a word that at that time I was not familiar with so I did what any self-respecting dream enthusiast would do – I googled it. So, as a side note do know that Liège is a province of eastern Belgium. Formerly ruled by independent prince-bishops, it became a part of the Netherlands in 1815 and of Belgium in 1830. It is situated along the Meuse River.

Now as you probably know, Liege speaks to a relationship between a Lord and His servant or Vassal. More specifically the concept is relative to Feudal Law and the responsibility that the two parties have to one another. On the surface, one is likely to think of the “Lord Liege” as the dominate party in the relationship and this is reasonable as the Lord is the one with the stuff.

As we further consider this relationship, though, we understand that the Lord is expressly dependent upon His vassals (liegeman) to help Him run things. They are mutually reliant upon each other. The word liege is both a noun and an adjective in it’s use.
Feudalism is also described as the dominant social system in medieval Europe, in which the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants (villeins or serfs) were obliged to live on their lord’s land and give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection.

So where am I going with all this? Well it was not difficult for me to ascertain that what my Lord (Jesus Christ) was showing me in this dream is that we are in a mutually beneficial relationship. Specifically He was demonstrating that He needs me (and you if you are in Him) to understand His responsibility in our relationship and He not only needs me to hold up my part but that I must be sure to hold Him responsible to do is His part.

So let’s be clear; Jesus Christ is Lord and God. He is Sovereign. I am just telling you what He told me. We must know what his responsibilities are to us and hold Him responsible. We too need to know what it is He needs of us and move forward in those things. Do know that our relationship with him avails to us all the resources of heaven inclusive of heaven’s military.

Sheep and Lambs

This dream starts with me being in a city’s downtown area. It was raining and there were portable shelters available. They were like umbrellas. I was able to move one to an area that I chose to stand. I was waiting for public transportation.

While I waited, I noticed that there were Christmas decorations present there in the city, so I took some pictures of them with my mobile phone to send to a friend who lives in California. It was then that I noticed that my phone was broken. Half of it was missing and the face of it was gone exposing the inner workings.

Fast forward. I am now in a country setting. Feels like Colorado. I approached this farm/ranch house to see if I could use the phone.

As I approached the house and was walking up the long walkway the sons of the owner came up behind me and one of them picked pocked, my wallet. He was not a particularly good pick-pocketer though because I realized right away what had happened and was able to wrestle my wallet away from him.

I continued and entered the home where I met the owner/father and after telling him that one of his sons had just lifted my wallet. His reprimand to his son was quite mild. I explained to him that I needed to use his phone.

Now I am again at the front of the property where there are two groups of sheep. They were in two distinct stages of development. One group was to be delivered inside of (onto) the property and the other was to be taken away by me.

There appeared now a third party who was to take the in-going sheep into the premises. The outgoing sheep were to be transferred to the vessel in which the in-going sheep were once they were taken out. I asked the Third-Party Person to be sure that the vessel had plenty of water when He brought it back to be provided to the sheep that would be taken away.

Interpretation (partial):

The Rain is the presence of the Holy Spirit. The shelters/umbrellas are spiritual covering. I am transitioning from one Spiritual covering to another. The mention of public transportation speaks to the sometimes fluidity of life in the Spirit.

The lambs and sheep are the people all saved but at various levels of spiritual development.

I expect more revelation relating to this dream and will bring it to you when it is received. It might do some of you a world of good to know why the Lord started this dialogue with me in the first place. I may be shedding some light on that as well.

Further Intimidation

This dream is the second dream told to me by a young preacher who along with his brother is in the process of starting a new church. He says that in this dream he was at home with his brother as someone knocked on the door. He said that as he was about to open the door to see who was there his brother cautioned him not to. He opened the door anyway and asked the man what he wanted. He said that he couldn’t see the man’s face but sensed he was evil and so he ran back inside and was chased by the man. The brothers quickly closed the door on the man.

What is clear from my conversation with the young gentleman is that the enemy intends to intimidate them into not moving forward with there church.

Further, the aggressive attack upon them makes it clear that God intends to  Powerfully use the proposed Church for Kingdom business.

Not In MY Neighborhood

This dream was communicated to me by a young man who along with his brother is in the process of starting a new church. He says that the dream started with him walking out side of his house and looking into the sky where he saw an eagle flying overhead. He said that he turned around and saw fighter jets and a big military plane with paratroopers jumping from it.

The paratroopers started to uproot new plants or bushes from the property. He said that he approached them and asked them who was in charge and what were they doing. He was told that some other man owned that property and that they (the brothers) were not allowed to plant there.

This dream is a warning by the Holy Spirit to these prospective preachers that the area where they are planning their church has a demonic presence and that don’t want no church there (yes, no church).

What in the World!

I find studying dreams to be extremely fascinating. I just completed a college course on dreams that certainly covered most any angle that you can imagine. The instructor, Katrina J. Wilson, teaches from a Spiritual and natural perspective. But not limited there.

One of the things that she suggests is that one should prepare themselves to receive and capture (remember) the communications of the sleep world. I think that I just made up that term. This is done to some extent by getting you focus directed from television and other things of that nature as well as cutting back on the late night snacks.

I just finished my book entitled Utterance, Speaking in Tongues and Spiritual Gifts and expect that the next one will be about dreams. Speaking in Tongues and Dreams are two of the end time signs mentioned in the Bible. It appears that the Lord intends to give me content for this site and for the book. This will be a substantial part of the ministry that He will work through me. Pretty sure!

Anyways, last night I dreamt that I was in a small house with at least one other person. At some point yet another person who had apparently resided with us for a short while at that house showed up with a gun and with the intent to shoot us. For some reason, in the dream the person was of Oriental descent. It was kind of like he had something to cover up before leaving the country. He fired and missed hitting us.

I ran out of the house and to the next-door neighbor’s house. Without knocking, I tried the door and found it to be unlocked. I rushed in and asked the neighbor if there were any firearms in the house. The neighbor was a female and she said that there was a rifle. A 22 caliber (small) and that she thought that there were about two bullets somewhere around.

She found the bullets and I loaded the rifle and sought to neutralize the bad guy. When I looked out to find his location I could see that there were two of them and so I caught them off guard and managed to shoot one of them knocking him to the ground.

By then, the neighbor had located a handgun. I was still engaging the other guy who was taking cover behind a tree (I learned all this cops and robbers stuff from television). Well it appears that he needed to reload his weapon and when I saw that that was what he was doing I rushed down to the tree while he was preoccupied and caught him off guard.

He saw me at the last minute so I gave a head fake to make him think that I was coming in from the right and I ducked to the left side of the tree and was able to get off a shot or two grazing his head. I was now in control of the situation.

In the world today there are many adversaries and sometimes we just don’t know who the devil will work through next. One thing that we can be sure of and it is this.

Last night I dreamed that I was conducting an inspection of some type at the home of Kenny. Kenneth Lewis is known to me, hence Kenny.

When I arrived at the home there was another person on the property also conducting some kind of inspection. Rather than disturb that person I elected to go around the block and give them time to finish up and leave.

No one answered the door to let me but I was somehow able to gain entrance to the exterior grounds of the home where I needed to work. When I was done, I thought that jumping the fence would be the easiest way to get out and thought to do it.

When I approached the fence I heard dogs barking and upon looking over the fence I saw that there were actually parallel fences with a space in between for the dogs to run. There were several dogs. Dogs of all sizes. They were not to friendly. I was trapped. on the property.

As I walked around within the interior of the fence feeling concerned about my situation I noticed that there actually were people in the house. Kenny’s wife and several children were in a raised patio area of the house and invited me in. I explained my reason for being there and asked them to help me out. His wife was a younger lady and very nice. I am not sure why but it appeared that the family was blended with the younger child being fathered by Kenny.

As we talked I happened to notice that there was easy egress from our location and so I thanked them for their kindness and head out through what was an elevated exit. The dream was over.

Remember, whenever I get the name of a person in a dream whether I know them or not, I always pray for them as the first order of the post dream business.

35th Place

Streets and roads etc. generally use a naming convention that describes the nature of the road. For example, street usually means a public way that has buildings on both sides of it. They run perpendicular to avenues. 

Place designates a road or street that has no throughway—or leads to a dead end. 

Last night I dreamt that I was returning a car to a friend and was instructed to park it at a certain address on 35th Place. As I parked the car, I was approached by a person of Asian descent who questioned whether I was parking the car at the correct address (was I sure that I wanted 35th pl). In the past I have made the mistake of going to an address on 35th Street or Lane or Road. You see where that is going, right? 

The dream was over. I pondered the meaning of the dream. A dream can carry more than one meaning or interpretation. As soon as I picked up my Bible this morning, I knew that the Lord was instructing me to read Psalm 35. 

Lately, I have been migrating closer and closer to the Lord. I am experiencing greater communion with Him and receiving just a flood of illumination, revelation, and inspiration. 

I am moving into a season where I will be sharing a lot about how God ministers to his darlings through dreams. My work regarding Speaking in Tongues and The Spiritual Gifts goes on as well.

That’s Not Enough Money!

Last night I dreamt that I was approached by a gentleman who wanted to rent a truck. I used to work in the rental car/truck industry many years ago. As we discussed the matter, I could see that all the money that the man had was a fist full of coins. 

I suggested to him that he would need more money than that and enquired as to where his other money was. It was clear that he had no other money. 

I asked him where he was going with the truck, and he said New Jersey. New Jersey! New Jersey is several hundred miles from where we were. This person was confident that the rental would take place. There was just no doubt in his mind. The dream was over. 

Earlier in the day yesterday, I made a note to myself due to some light or revelation that I received during my early morning study time/meditation. I wrote this down: “Speak to the Mountain.” I knew that it was inspiration from God so I carefully took the note and secured that it would make its way to my desk for safe cataloging. 

Mark 11: 22-23 reads as thus: And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 

For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall happen; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 

Also consider Matthew 6:25-34. 

Interpreting the dream, for me, is simple. It is a very gentle and sweet admonition to me from the Holy Spirit to move forward, nothing wavering, toward that which He has called me. 

The nice man requesting the truck was operating in faith.

Promotion Time

The dreamer submitting this dream tells how the dreams begins with him sitting and working on a keyboard instrument. A piano or typewriter – yes typewriter. He says that as he worked toward the right side of the instrument he encountered a peg sticking in it restricting movement past a certain point.

He says that while he pondered the dilemma a person of some authority (we all know who that is right?) came to assist and removed the obstacle. He was able to complete his work and was assigned to sit at a desk in a section of the room that was to the left of the area in which he was previously working.

The Helper encouraged him to complete his work as there would be many people that would benefit by the work in which he did.

WHO WAS THAT MASKED MAN

Often in my dreams there appears this Mystery Person. I once saw Him assisting a person who was having some difficulty in a rapidly flowing river. He has appeared as a policeman assisting and aiding against doers of evil. He appeared in the dream in which the Lord called me to ministry. He was The Coach.

You are likely to see Him as a Teacher, Helper, Lawyer, A Friend and always as Someone who operates from the background. He does not bring attention to Himself other than to be an Advocate and Protector.

He comes to assist in a time of trouble and at other times as needed and then fades into the background until such a time as when He is needed again. He is an Ever-Present Helper.

While He is the Third Part of the Godhead, He is somewhat like the Lone Ranger.

I Can Do That With My Eyes Closed

Last Friday the nice gentleman who cuts my hair told me about a dream that he had. We talk a lot about the things of the Bible when I visit with him. He is not yet Filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues.

He said that he dreamt that he was in circus-like setting (atmosphere) and that Tongues came pouring out of him. He said that he recalls laying hands on a woman, a magician of some sort. The Tongues came pouring out and he felt as if he were not in control of his body.

Additionally, he said that the ringmaster was nearby.

He said that he also remembers speaking to the lady in a very stern way and admonishing her that the Lord is saying that His people need deliverance, and they are not living the way in which He intended.  These words were, too, pouring out of him.

I believe that this for my friend is the genesis of his Spiritual Development to a higher level of Baptism with the Holy Spirit, Speaking in Tongues, Spiritual Gifts and Ministry of The Great Commission work.

His actions in the dream were Speaking in Tongues, and Interpretation of Tongues which, as you know, equals Prophecy.

Symbolically, the circus is the world, the woman is the church, and the ringmaster is the Satan.

The prophetic utterance is a reminder to the Church of Her charge to conduct The Great Commission (Mark 16: 17-18).

Yesterday at Church the Pastor talked about a dream that he had relating to his wife. He dreamed that he was having spiritual warfare with two invisible entities. These spirits were waging an attack on his wife, and he was doing his best to fend them off.  

One of the foes was more aggressive than the other and Pastor fought furiously with it, even to the point of biting it. While the battle went on the second demon maintained a more restrained position (for some reason).  

Later in the discussion we surmised that the dream had something to do with Pastor having encouraged his wife to move forward with some ministry endeavors that she desired. Ministry that the enemy preferred that she did not do. Pastor was desirous that the congregation would pray regarding the matter. 

Upon hearing the dream, I suggested that we should pray without delay. So, we prayed, rebuking the devil, and proclaiming victory in Jesus Christ over such devices or harm intended by their spiritual wickedness. 

Immediately after having prayed, one of members present announced that he had a vision during the prayer and would tell of it. He said that he saw in the vision that Pastor’s wife had had many strings attached to her like those of a puppet. He said that he then saw a Hand from Heaven begin to cut the strings, freeing her and releasing the burden of the strings. We rejoiced in our hearing. 

But there was more to come. Immediately thereafter another person from the Church came forward with a prophetic word addressing the matter.  

She said that she had had an impression of having seen a large spaceship. It was modular. It was burdened. She related it to some contemporary cartoon or similar media. Point being, Pastors wife was able to begin to “push buttons” jettisoning some of the modules eliminating the burden to fly freely. 

This is a clear example of God allowing danger to be revealed in a dream so that prayer could be offered to bring about safety. He did also graciously show that the prayer had been answered.

Help A Brother Out

Last night I dreamt that I was walking down a stream (river) with a couple of other people. The water was moving fast and there were some obstructions. Suddenly, one of the guys got into trouble and was forced under the water and was having difficulty re-surfacing. The other person that was accompanying us said to me “grab him and get him out”. 

Helping a drowning person can sometimes be a dangerous proposition as they may lay hold of and incapacitate you and your efforts to help. He appeared to have washed under some tree branches and I was unable to see him. I felt around for him and once getting a hold of him I grabbed him quickly and shoved him up on the opposite bank. He lives to see another day. 

Interpretation: while walking in the Spirit, I was able to discern that a person needed help. The Third Person present (The Helper) instructed that I help. There was no time to waste. Can you say victory in the Holy Ghost?

Barley Bread

“And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along. 

 And his fellow answered and said, this is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host. And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, arise; for the Lord hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.” (Judges 7:13-14) 

The above scripture is just one of many instances in the Bible where God used symbols to communicate with His people. In this case, Gideon, a “show me” kind of fellow was given added assurance that he would succeed in his assignment against the Midianites. 

Somehow this is my favorite dream story from the Bible – there are many to choose from.

THIEVERY

On September 05, 2016, I dreamt that a thief was caught in the act of thievery. Fast forward to another scene in the dream and, I am suggesting to a preacher that he should step down (resign his position as Pastor). 

Meanwhile, I hear the Lord saying that “the thief is to be the new preacher.” It appears to me that the Lord is intent on doing some house cleaning and the thief in the dream is symbolic of one of the thieves that died on the cross next to the Lord. The Lord found his heart to be in the right condition to enter the Kingdom (Paradise) the same day as their crucifixion.  

“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou come into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23: 42-43) 

“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:5) 

I discern that my mandate here is to admonish the Shepherds to heed the Great Commission Instructions (Mark 16) just as they are spoken by the Lord and train their sheep in them before their candlesticks are taken away. 

Additionally, woe unto you of the Seminaries around the world that are turning out candidates in the name of Jesus Christ which are not Baptized by the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues. I say this with Authority. 

Speaking of admonitions, I am aware of what the bible says as to how we should regard preachers (Men and Women of God). 1 Chronicles 16:22 makes this abundantly clear and if that was not clear enough, Psalms 105:15 confirms the seriousness of this matter. Both verses read:  

“Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm.”

HEALING HANDS

Following the previously posted “BLUE HANDS” Dream I fell asleep again and had yet another dream. It was my hope to know more regarding the earlier dream. Having a “continuation dream” such as this is rare. 

The dream starts out with my being a janitorial person at a school or some similar facility. My job is to clean the rooms after each session. 

I am new in the job and not doing a particularly decent job. My supervisors are not pleased with my performance. They are, however, patient with me. 

At that job there was another worker, a lady, who had the gift of healing in her hands. 

Let me just say here that any gift of healing aside from that of Jesus Christ is not one that I would discuss. 

To continue the story, though, one of the other folks working with us was having some physical difficulty and asked the referenced lady if she would lay hands on him. She agreed to and when she did, I saw a physical reaction to the energy that was released into him, and he confirmed that he no longer had any discomfort. 

Upon seeing this I recalled my previous experience with the “laying on of hands” and thought to give it a go. I touched the person who was my immediate supervisor on the head and said, “be blessed.” He convulsed mildly he smiled approval and an attitude of peace. I did the same thing to, yet another near-by worker and they too had the same reaction. 

There was another one of the workers asleep in a bed. Remember, now, this is a dream! I proceeded to touch him, and he displayed that same gentle bodily convulsion and peaceful smile while continuing to sleep. 

What does it all mean? 

The bible tells us in the book of Mark 16:18 that one of the signs that would follow the believer is that they will lay hands on the sick and that they will recover. 

I personally hope and believe that these dreams are prophetic. I thank God for them.

BLUE HANDS

I had this dream on the morning of 12/01/2017. I dreamt that I was driving to Church on a Sunday morning. I believe the setting to be Atlanta, Georgia. 

This was a church that I had previously visited but there was a tricky turn, and I ended up on the wrong road. As you know, we sometimes do irrational stuff in dreams as did I when I parked the car and started to walk; walking up to a Church that was not the planned one. 

 I entered the Church foyer and requested information. I sat down in the foyer next to a man and shared hellos. As I looked over the material that I had received, I noticed that the palms of my hands had turned blue. There was a texture to the blue. It was like a thin hairy or firry covering. 

To be sure I was not seeing things I asked the gentleman sitting next to me if he saw it and he said yes. At a second glance my hands had turned yellow (or amber, the color of fire), which we both saw. Then the color of my hands turned white and then back to their normal color. 

Next in the dream I was walking down the sidewalk back to my car. The nice man from the church was walking with me. As we passed two people walking in the opposite direction, I was led to touch one of them and found that there was power in my hands, which was evident by the physical reaction of both as I touched just one of them. 

 The dream was over, and I was awake. The time is about 6 AM. In a “first ever” I endeavored to go back to sleep to know more about these “Healing Hands.”

I had this dream during the first week of this month. It was as if I were a football player; likely a running back or pass receiver as I was running down the field with the ball. 

The opposing team was in hot pursuit behind me to destroy me, breathing down my back. 

Suddenly the Coach appeared off to my left side (putting me on His Right Side) and he said to me “hit the locker room I want you to stop everything else that you are doing and follow me.” He threw me a towel. I tossed the football off with my left hand and appeared in the locker room where I cleaned up and headed out. 

I now believe that the towel represents a mantle. 

I at once moved to another scene in the dream where the Coach was still moving (He is always moving) at His constant pace and I ran behind Him (following Him). 

While thinking on the dream, drafting (running in the vacuum of no resistance) behind Him was added revelation. 

He is worthy of all Praise.

This is an easy one! I think. 

Last night (first thing this morning) I had a dream in which it was like my car was being stopped by the authorities. There were at least three of them. The impression given was as if it were an inspection or evaluation of sorts. 

So, these nice folks looked at a few documents and the general organization of things and seemed impressed at the good order in which they found my business. 

Somehow, though, one of them picked up a bottle of LEA & PERRINS WORCHESHIRE SAUCE and began to examine it. When I noticed what was happening, I chimed in that “oh that, I’ve been meaning to throw that out because I don’t know how old it is or if is still ok to eat.” I was unable to find a “use by” date on it. 

When we all agreed that it was, in fact, a good idea to go ahead and get rid of it, I was free to go. The mood was a positive one as we parted company. 

Clearly as I matriculate into a new level of purpose it is important that I take inventory and discard those things that are not meat for that new assignment. Quite sure! 

I love this dream business. If you pay attention, you win fast.

Swirl Painting

So, Swirl Painting! 

I do not recall ever hearing the term before but, last night there it was in a dream and vividly; you know, in color. This dream must be for someone. I have not adapted it for myself yet, though I may as I gain more revelation as to what it symbolizes. 

Here is how it went. Picture a map of North Carolina fixed in a wide flat pan. In it are several paint colors. The person doing the painting is holding either side of the pan out in front of them and gently moving the pan up and down and from side to side to move the paint in a color specific manner to for example, put green where they want it and yellow or brown or black in just the right place. The painting was complete. Fascinating, huh? Remember now this is a dream. 

There! Obviously by now you have some question as to my state of mind but, do not shoot the messenger. There is a profound revelation here and it will hit us soon just like the proverbial “ton of bricks”. Fairly sure. 

Oh! I forgot to ask the Lord what it means. 

I will do that right now.

The Bible admonishes us to seek first after the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness; and promises that if we do that that “all these things” (worldly, natural, and even necessary things) will be provided for us. 

So primarily our focus and efforts should be in line with the Mind and Ways of Jesus Christ. 

I had an interesting dream last night. In the dream I encountered two people with whom I had a business relationship a few years ago. Remember now that whenever I have specific folks in a dream, I prioritize isolating and praying for them as a matter of habit to cover them regarding the entirety of their lives. 

Anyway, they had come to town, and I was meeting with them to try and sell them something as they were (in the dream) purchasing agents for their company. 

Time was running out and I had not been able to sale these folks anything in the way of typical office supplies etc. Finally, I said to them “well is there anything at all that your company needs to purchase because if there is, I am sure that I will be able to supply you with it.” 

So, one of the ladies said “well we do need to purchase a Zamboni“. 

So, without thinking, I said “well I can get you one of those. Just confirm your request and I will have it shipped. “ 

After having said that, I thought to myself “how am I going to do that?” So, I pondered it for a while. Remember now that I was dreaming all the while and this BLOG is about dreams. 

Continuing; now in the dream there appeared that unnamed person that you know, as I have mentioned Him before and for some reason, He had a baby with Him (you also know what that symbolizes). And He said, “why don’t you drop-ship the Zamboni?” I am in no way plugging drop-shipping nor do I have anything to do with Zamboni. 

This whole dream is symbolic of how the Holy Spirit (the unnamed Person) is encouraging us to pay close attention to Him in the practice of our vocations (babies) and that He will provide wisdom to us in our endeavors as we keep His business first.

Save The Baby

Last night I had two dreams (that I remember). I was disturbed by the first dream and woke up and prayed to The Most High regarding it. I rejected and renounced the dream. I did, however, leave the door open for The Most High to give illumination and or revelation as to whether or not it was a message from Him. It is probably best if I don’t give details of the dream.

“So anyways” (as BJNT use to say), down to business. I dreamt that there were two very small children playing in a puddle (not pool) near by where I was sitting in some place. Then, there was just one and I noticed him playing okay for a while but when I looked away (remember now I wasn’t necessarily charged with looking after these babies but was just there  present) and looked back on him I saw him face down in the water and pretty much drowned as he was not moving.

I immediately removed him from the water and applied a lifesaving technique that I was taught “back in the day” in which a drowning victim was placed on his stomach and the water is forced from his lounges by placing pressure on his back (please refer to current techniques).

Because in the dream I was aware that I had applied an outdated process and the fact that the baby hadn’t responded I called my nearby sister who is a nurse and asked for help. She looked at me dumbfounded as the only child she saw was going about its’ business as normal.

The baby had revived!

Wow! it is amazing how working on these dreams and writing them down actually brings Revelation and Illumination as I go. A key word here is revive as the verb and baby as the noun.

I digress, though, as I remind you that a baby in a dream usually means “a baby’ or something else that is in its’ infancy like a new job or business for example.

So, what is the takeaway? A good result (report) for the baby likely means something positive has happened regarding one of my endeavors. I say “has” to allow for the time-lag between the Spiritual event and its’ natural (corporal) manifestation.

Gentle Nudge that Was and Is

“Hi Mr. Thomas.

This is M we met the other day.

I had a dream, and it was very short. I saw the cross and was compelled to wake up. I felt a gentle nudge on my back. The Holy Spirit woke me up, so I prayed. I’m not sure what I was supposed to pray for so I prayed for everything I could think of.

What should I be doing?”

I received this letter from a new young lady friend the other day and responded to her as follows. For the sake to time, I will paraphrase my answer.

I believe the Cross that you saw is His (Jesus’) way of saying this step is covered and now is the time to move forward with (in) Power and Revelation.

As our sins were washed away by the Blood of Jesus. The CROSS is symbolic of our old man being crucified with him.

His Gentle Nudge is Him saying let’s move forward in the afore mention Power and Revelation.

From time-to-time God (The Holy Spirit) will awaken you at night to pray and will not say about what. These are occasions to Pray in Tongues.

Generally, pray in tongues in your own space whenever possible. Occasionally you will know what He is accomplishing (as His Spirit speaks through your spirit) but mostly not. Be sensitive to His moving and be obedient on all occasions.

Praying in tongues is a “catch all” way to pray as the Holy Spirit knows every situation requiring prayer but He requires a co-laboring Believer for this action.”

Last night (early this morning) I dreamt that I was in a large city (either on a hillside overlooking it or in one of the high-rise buildings therein). I recall going to the bathroom and upon exiting I heard someone nearby say, “Oh my God”. So, I looked out of the window and saw bombs (missiles) falling and exploding all over. It was a horrific sight. 

That was the extent of the dream but as you know, there is a lot of tension in the world at this time and it is thought that the chance for a war (nuclear war even) is higher than at any time in recent memory. 

I will have more to say about this but wanted to get this out to you. 

You have heard me say this before, so you know that the first thing to do after having a dream is to pray. I have asked the Lord to be in control of this situation and desire that you will pray also that He will have the leaders in the world to exercise Wisdom and restraint.

More Clarity Regarding Understanding Dreams and Visions

It must be said, though, that often in our dreams today the symbols that God uses are related contemporary things of our lives.

So, while the Bible is my number one choice as a reference guide for understanding dreams, I believe that the inserted book will be most helpful in helping you to understand what God is saying to you in your dreams. I have this author’s work in my private library.

“Kill and Eat”- Visions & Dreams & Trances & Angels & Voices, Oh My!

Not to mention the dream symbols found in this story. Long story short, Cornelius a righteous and giving Italian Centurion had a vision in which he saw that an Angel (which frightened him) had come to bring him a message from God that his giving and prayers had not gone unnoticed but had come up as a memorial before God. He was instructed to send for Peter (and told exactly where he would be) for further instructions. 

 As his men drew near to where Peter was residing, Peter fell into a trance in which he saw, as it were, a sheet lowered down from heaven that had all matter of unclean animals (Peter was Kosher you know) on it. God instructed Peter to “kill and eat”. 

Peter reminded God that he has never eaten an unclean thing. God admonished Peter not to call that which He has cleaned, unclean. He said this to Peter three times. Peter contemplated the vison as the vessel (sheet) was taken back into Heaven. 

So now, the Spirit advised Peter that there were folks at his door and that he should go with them “doubting nothing” as they were sent by Him. The men identified themselves as having been sent by Cornelius and were provided lodging for the night. 

The following day Peter and “certain brethren” of his went with Cornelius’s party back to Cornelius’s home (Caesarea) where Cornelius had invited a welcoming party that included his friends and relatives. 

Peter arrives and after some conversation with Cornelius he preaches the Gospel to these gentiles (the first gentiles to receive the Gospel) who are all saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues. 

This story demonstrates the vast richness of “dreams and visions” and all the associated intricacies including the trance, direct communication from God (via the Holy Spirit and Angels), dream symbols (the unclean animals representing the gentiles) and certainly several others.

I asked a good friend to tell me about her dreams. I said that a recurring dream would be preferable.

She said that she has dreams in which she is in a house with like two or three females. She says that she is trying to escape.

She is hiding from someone. Always trying to hide. She hides in the closet. She always ends up by herself.

Here is what I think:

I have come to understand that a woman (female) in a dream can sometimes be symbolic of a demon spirit. It appears that they are trying to get closer to her. Looks like they are content though when she hides for she can do NO GOOD WORK when she is hiding.

I get the impression that these are unwanted and uninvited guest and that they need to be shown the door.

Ending up by herself indicates some level of defeat as there is strength in numbers. It may be that she needs a friend that is closer than a brother.

MOST SWIMMINGLY

This morning I dreamt a dream that was a split screen dream. In one screen (stage left) I was in a coffee shop like setting with several other men and we were discussing how the recent river change was affecting their current living quarters. They all lived in a multi-level apartment building that stands by the river. The river had risen and some of them needed units that were on higher floors. My home was not in the building and so my concern was nil. 

The discussion then moved on to putting in our orders for something to eat later. One of the fellows was going for the takeout order. The day-of-the-week setting must have been Friday because I ordered fish and chips. 

In the “stage-right” scene, I found myself walking in a dry riverbed in the direction from which the water would normally flow. To my surprise water started coming down the river. Initially, I was able to sidestep the water and stay out of its way. Increasingly, though, the flow of the water became greater and greater. It was like the dam broke or a great rain had taken place up stream. 

Meanwhile (stage left) I was having a change of mind about the fish and chips. I had remembered that I already had fish at home. I was trying to get my order cancelled. 

I woke up and knew immediately what the dream meant; mostly, I think. 

Now folks, many of you know how that the Lord says that in the last days He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh and you know about how he says that rivers of living waters shall flow from them that believe on him. I propose to you today that the increased flow of the waters in the river in this dream represents a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit of God. 

Just as a note, the river is another way of saying the Holy Spirit, fish could be representative of in this case unsaved folks. I am sure that some other symbols are included here. 

The advent is at hand. We are walking on the dry riverbed, but the water is coming.

NEITHER CAST YOUR PEARLS

About a week ago I met and had a conversation with a nice lady. She is an entertainer, and I got the impression that she is increasingly seeking the Lord. 

She told me a dream that she had. She indicated that she was baffled and just a little frightened by the dream. It caused her to question her salvation. 

In the dream she saw the heavens (the clouds and atmosphere) being removed from the sky. This was accomplished by a big hand rolling back the sky. She kept speaking about the big hand. It made an enormous impression on her. All that was visible in the sky was an extremely bright light. The light was brighter than the sun and, again, she was very frightened by what she saw. 

I told her that she should not be scared because of the dream because it was foundationally Biblical. I gave her scriptural references. I went on to assure her that if she believed in her heart and confessed with her mouth that Jesus is the resurrected Son of God that she need not worry about her salvation. 

What God was showing her is found in the Bible in Revelation Chapter 16, verse 14; “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” and Isaiah 34:14;  “And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.” 

I will not elaborate on the scripture references here but will say that if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour the coming end time days will not be pleasant for you. Talk about sugar coating! 

As for you Mrs. Jones, my title here is just a message to you that you are really blessed that the Lord showed you this vision. He would not have “cast it before swine” (Matthew 7:6). This can only mean greater things for you as you pursue Him. 

The real message here is that the “Day of The Lord” is at hand (pun intended). 

Here is how you escape.

THE SAILBOAT DREAM

On September 22, 2016, I dreamt that I was out in a sailboat sailing on a river. 

There was a great stone (big rock) adjacent to the river and in the mist of some trees. 

We had word that the stone was about to explode. 

We were currently not moving as we had encountered an obstruction. The waters of the river were flowing nicely. 

I recall adjusting the kick-up rudder to clear the obstruction to be able to sail on. 

The Stone did explode as we began to sail and flow freely. 

As I have said before in this work, the interaction with God in the process is regular. This dream is a good example. 

The message (interpretation) to me is clear; the Stone is the Lord Himself. The river is that which flows from Him eternally (Utterance), the trees are the people (the Saints). The explosion is symbolic of the Spirit of the Lord being poured out on all flesh in this end time. 

The obstruction that was overcome by the navigation adjustment is symbolic of the Enemy. The navigation adjustment represents the Church (Ecclesia) adopting proper protocol where walking in (and by) the Spirit (of the living God) is concerned. 

Utterance is spoken forth through the Saints throughout all the World.

The Lord Of The Harvest

Dreamt I caught a thief taking something from me. 

Fast forward to another scene and I am suggesting to a preacher that he needs to step down. Meanwhile, I hear the Lord saying that the thief is to be the new preacher. 

It appears to me that the Lord is intent on doing some house cleaning and the thief in the dream is symbolic of the thief that died on the cross next to the Lord. 

The Lord found his heart to be in the right condition to enter the Kingdom (Luke 23:39-43). 

A word of admonishment to the Shepherds; “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent” (Revelation 2:5). 

“Therefore, said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers into His harvest” (Luke 10:2).

My Dream Flew Away

He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night (Job 20:8).
But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;
King Nebuchandnezzar had a dream but he forgot the details of the dream. He did not forget, though, that he was greatly troubled in his spirit by the dream and couldn’t sleep.
He called for all his magicians, sorcerers, Chaldeans and astrologers and demanded that they tell him the dream and the interpretation of it.
After telling them a second time that he didn’t remember the dream he threaten to cut them into pieces and to do some other bad stuff to them if they didn’t tell him the dream and the interpretation.
You’ve heard me say before that dreams are the domain of  God and this story is most inspirational.
It is best that I digress here and send you here for what is one of the most fascinating and informative stories about dreams found in the Bible.

Here is a copy of an email that I sent to news person Shelvia Dancy back in 2010.

I am kind of sticking with the Haynes St address as a location for the child and think it to be before 10th street.

I reside in Wake Forest NC.

I had a dream about that case. Dreamed the baby
could be found on Haynes St in Memphis. The number
in the dream was 3309 but once I contacted the Memphis
Police with this info it occurred to me that the 3309 may
actually be just a way of confirmation regarding the dream
as 3309 is also the telephone extension of the officer
working on the case, Sgt. Laundy (who did not
bother to return my phone call).

Could it be that the baby is alive and the mother should
be getting treatment for depression or something?

My other choices are coming to Memphis and trying to find
the baby myself or hiring an investigator to check out Haynes
St in Memphis.

Where is LAURYN DICKENS

LAURYN DICKENS of Memphis TN went missing back in 2010. She was approximately one year old at the time. Here mother, Shakara Dickens was subsequently convicted of Lauryn’s death. Lauryn’s body was never located.

During her trial Shakara reportedly indicated that she had handed the child over to someone as instructed by the child’s father.

About that time I had a dream in which I saw the scene play out just as the child’s mother had indicated. I was able to use some of the information that  I  saw in the dream to find this case in Memphis.

I believe that Lauryn currently lives in Memphis a few miles east of downtown and near highway 72. The home sits back a little off the road and has tall shrubbery in the front yard.

Robin, Robin, Robin

I Dreamt that I was walking along the base of a coastal mountain along with Pastor Preacher. There was another person or two with us. As we neared the water, Pastor’s little dog, Robin, took off running and ran down to the water and jumped in. As the waves washed her out to sea, Pastor began to call for the dog. He called out, Robin, Robin, Robin. His little dog was lost. 

The next morning, I told my wife that I thought she should call and check on Robin, a lady from our church. The Lord was directing us to do so. My wife was a little reluctant to do so initially. 

Later, that day, though, she called me to say that she had contacted Robin and was able to determine that Robin and her two young daughters were really in desperate need of some assistance as their power was about to be turned off and they needed to go grocery shopping.  

We were able to provide money and take her shopping. 

Since having this dream, I have had many others in which the Lord has given me the names of specific folks or dreams about them. Circumstances pertaining to these people are usually vague. One certainty is that I am to pray for them. And I always do. 

 

So, we were able to assist the Lord in answering the prayer of one of His own by carefully sorting out some aspects of the dream. Any time there is a series of 3’s in a dream one should take notice as this is one of the more prominent symbols in dreams. Other details of this dream such as the location, characters and any actions taken may have meaning that is yet to be revealed.

LIEGE

Several years ago I had a dream or perhaps a vision in which the only message was the word LIEGE.

Now this is a word that at that time I was not familiar with so I did what any self-respecting dream enthusiast would do – I googled it. So, as a side note do know that Liège is a province of eastern Belgium. Formerly ruled by independent prince-bishops, it became a part of the Netherlands in 1815 and of Belgium in 1830. It is situated along the Meuse River.

Now as you probably know, Liege speaks to a relationship between a Lord and His servant or Vassal. More specifically the concept is relative to Feudal Law and the responsibility that the two parties have to one another. On the surface, one is likely to think of the “Lord Liege” as the dominate party in the relationship and this is reasonable as the Lord is the one with the stuff. As we further consider this relationship, though, we understand that the Lord is expressly dependent upon His vassals (liegeman) to help Him run things. They are mutually reliant upon each other. The word liege is both a noun and an adjective in its use.

Feudalism is also described as the dominant social system in medieval Europe, in which the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants (villeins or serfs) were obliged to live on their lord’s land and give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection.

So where am I going with all this? Well, it was not difficult for me to ascertain that what my Lord (Jesus Christ) was showing me in this dream is that we are in a mutually beneficial relationship. Specifically, He was demonstrating that He needs me (and you if you are in Him) to understand His responsibility in our relationship and He not only needs me to hold up my part but that I must be sure to hold Him responsible to do is His part.

So, let’s be clear; Jesus Christ is Lord and God. He is Sovereign. I am just telling you what He told me. We must know what his responsibilities are to us and hold Him responsible. We too need to know what it is He needs of us and move forward in those things. Do know that our relationship with him avails to us all the resources of heaven inclusive of heaven’s military.

AIRPLANE

Last night I dreamt that I was in a location near an airport with another person. We were in a buffer zone between homes etc. and the airport.  

We looked up and saw a large airplane that was about to land. It was flying quite low. The plane flew right over us. It was as if you could reach up and touch it.  

The landing gear of the plane struck an object that was on the ground and was sheared off. The plane continued and made it to the runway. 

Meanwhile my friend and I took the landing gear and put it in a bag and proceeded to try and get it to its owners. Along the way we encountered hard to traverse terrain. At one point we received some help from a lawyer.  

We handed the bag over to the lawyer who handed it off to a female assistant. I was not comfortable with this and grabbed the bag and we left the lawyers office.  

He (the lawyer) called security and they began to use force to try and get the bag. I looked around and saw this knife which I picked up. It had a yellow handle. I stabbed at the security person, and it is like they had on a bullet proof vest, so the knife was reflected. meanwhile we were backing into the elevator and one of the security persons fired at us with a handgun. No one was hurt and the dream was over. 

What does this dream mean? I do not know. Here is what I do know. It is always important to pray and ask the Lord to help with the interpretation and to intervene if this was a prophetic dream.  

Some symbolic considerations regarding this dream are the airplane, my associate (was He the Holy Spirit?), the yellow handle of the knife (did the yellow color represent Fire?), There were engravings on it (was that Scripture?). The handgun, bag, elevator, the female assistant, and rough terrain are all symbols to be interpreted. What was my motivation for getting the bag to its owner? 

There is a lot of work to do regarding this dream. Intuition alerts me that it is an important dream.

RUBIK’S CUBE

20 years ago, I felt as if I was not growing in my relationship with God. I was not paying much attention to Him, and I felt as if He was not paying much attention to me; so, I asked Him in prayer if He would work with me and help me to grow in Wisdom and Power and use me for Kingdom purposes. 

Shortly thereafter, the Lord appeared to me in a dream and opened before me a Bible. I should proclaim right here the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and that Jesus Christ is Lord and God. 

He turned a few pages of the bible and on either side of each page there was writing but on the back side of these pages they were blank. The Lord said to me “my son as you can see everything is not clearly revealed in My Word, but it is like a puzzle that must be unraveled.” In so speaking He placed a Rubik’s Cube on the pages of the bible, and he said, “I will now show you the mysteries of and help you to understand and search out greater Revelation pertaining to my Word.” 

Almost immediately from that time, I was led to seek out the Book Of Enoch the content of which takes your faith to another level. It is not necessarily an easy read, though, and being Holy Spirit led is essential. I have learned that Watchman Nee’s works are also important for those of us wanting to build up our spirit and faith. My level of communion with the living God is richer because of my request. The Lord is constantly showing me in dreams and visions things that are about to happen.

Do you know that it might well be that the only reason God causes us to sleep is so that we can be quiet enough and not distracted by all of the stuff that goes on during the course of a day long enough for him to impart to us dreams and visions; important information designed to lead us, strengthen us, protect us causing us to most efficiently fulfill our purpose on the earth? Here are 10 important things for you to know about dreams; so as to not leave any double in your mind I will provide a biblical referenced for each:

1. Dreams are the domain of God Gen 20:3.

2. Interpretation of dreams is the domain of God. Interpretation can be imparted by referencing dreams with similar symbols from the bible, prayer and meditation and yes sometimes directly from God when requested Gen 40:8, Dan 2:28.

3. There are many, many basic dream symbols found in the bible some of which you may find in your dreams; here are a couple of my favorite my favorite: barley cakes and the sun and the moon. The list goes on Jdg 7:13, Gen 37:9.

4. Sometimes we cause ourselves to dream. These dreams may not be fruitful Jer 29:8.

5. There are likely three kinds of dreams: spiritual, those dreams given by the Holy Spirit; demonic, likely imparted by demonic entities through you soul (it appears that while the devil can communicate to your mind which may be his best weapon against us, he can not communicate to our spirits directly. Remember, though, the soul, (mind) does influence the spirit (largely by default because we didn’t judge every thought) 2Co 10:5. Thirdly, natural dreams, generally caused by or associated with ones recent activities as the so called subconscious mind (human spirit) reconciles them while the body sleeps Ecc 5:3, Ecc 5:7.

6. God used dreams extensively in the bible and largely foretold much of what has since transpired Dan 2:45.

7. Understanding our dreams require work on our part. When we work for something, we appreciate it more and gain greater reward Gen 40:16.

8. Dreams are a form of the “gifts of the Spirit” in that things that your have no natural way of knowing are revealed to you. This is called the word of knowledge  and is imparted to you by The Holy Spirit (God Himself) 1Co 12:8.

9.Dreams and visions are similar with visions sometimes being akin to reality or having real life experience. One is likely to feel suspended in time during vision Num 24:4.

10. Your Local Church is likely unwilling to do the work necessary to incorporate this most important gift form God into perfecting the saints of their congregations. Doing so is not an easy undertaking.
