“Break In”

In a previous dream, I talked about an encounter with two giants. Further interpretating the dream, let me say that the Lord was revealing to me a coming danger or threat from the enemy to thwart Kingdom work that I am involved in.  

As it happened, a meeting that I attended a few days after the dream in which a decision as to whether I would proceed with a certain project generated a negative result. 

I did not think much about it at the time but was hopeful for a positive response. Importantly, as I consider myself to be led by the Holy Spirit in all things, I returned home for the sorting through of other options.  

About three days later as I lay in bed, I heard a voice say, “Break In!” 

This was baffling as no one was in the room but me and the alarm system does not say that. While I pondered the communication, as to from whence it came, I heard the voice once again, “Break In!”  

After checking about to know if anyone else in the house had been hearing voices, I concluded that the Lord had spoken to me regarding the matter revealing the real purpose of the giants and how they were sent to prevent the assignment and that I was to “Break In” or reactivate the project and see it to fruition.  

This important work is about DREAMS and how the Most High uses dreams to help us to know and fulfill our purpose and to help Him to complete His Work.

DESTROY THE GIANT

In this dream, I was traveling to an event carrying a correspondence portfolio. Timely delivery of the same was essential. 

As I traveled by foot, the trip was mostly uneventful. One thing of note though was that I saw a giant driving a car. He drove the car into the river. So, I thought so much for the giant and continued traveling to the destination.  

As it had gotten dark and as I entered a turn in the road, I saw the giant standing in the midst ahead of me. The thought that occurred to me was “the giant must be killed.” The dream was over. 

Just as David had a giant or two in his life, we all have giants occasionally that must be dealt with.

NEW CHURCHES ON FIRE FROM INCEPTION

In a vision last night, I saw many 18 wheelers carrying wood construction members to new home sites. New subdivisions. The materials were stacked high on the trucks. 

As the trucks proceeded, they began to run into the electric grid. Many of them ran into the electrical wires and many fires began to happen. 

As I considered that these materials had been trees in the not so distant past and that trees are symbolic for members of the Church, I thought about how this dream is representative of new Churches that are about to spring up that will have been Baptized in Fire. 

Many, many Churches springing up all over that were emersed in Fire at their inception. 

It is going to happen!

A couple of nights ago I dreamed about a contest that took place in a meeting hall like setting. One group of people was standing on one side of the length of the building and the other on the other side.  

I did question the source of this dream as to whether it was God, the devil, or the previous days dinner. But after discussing it with a good friend and getting additional revelation from the Holy Spirit I recognized that there was an important caveat being communicated.  

Additionally, once realizing that there is another word that goes with the word contest and in the same context as I am speaking of here, I decided to proceed with this post.  

Continuing; the area in the middle was open. The contest was to determine from which of the two groups would the first three people to whiz come.  

Soon, there was an indication on the port side of the room (the side on which I was standing) that the objective had been met and so we signaled to the judges.  

Immediately, the group on the other side indicated loudly that they had completed the task even before our side had and I thought this to be true.  

This caused a big commotion as the people on both sides of the room pointed to our side as the winner. The prize was awarded to us.  

My dilemma here is whether the prized should be stripped and given to the other side that in fact completed the contest first or should it be retained by the team to whom it was awarded?  

In discussing this with my friend, she unhesitatingly mentioned the game BINGO. In BINGO, you can meet the win requirement but if you do not shout out the word BINGO before someone else acquires and shouts out BINGO, they win, and you do not. Problem solved!  

At least that part of the problem or dilemma is solved. But as I believe that all dreams from God have a ministry or Kingdom meaning I knew that I need to dig deeper. The lesson here speaks to unfinished work.  

The work of the Church is unfinished, the work of this minister is unfinished. Resting on one’s laurels can be costly and detrimental to the individual.

THREE FOR THE PRICE OF ONE

In this recent dream I was relaxing at my home. This home was on the side of a hill. From down the street and across the road the theology teacher was hitting some baseballs up to me.

I was laying down on the ground. The first ball came near to where I was, and I tried to catch it while still lying down. I stretched my right arm to catch it as it was oh so near but, I did not get it.

He hit a second ball and it flew directly toward me but slightly over my head. I came close to catching it but not close enough. By now, the third ball is in flight and the story is the same. The thought that occurred to me was that maybe I would have better luck catching the ball if I had a baseball glove. The dream is over.

Is the interpretation not clear to you? Well maybe this next dream will help. It followed right after the earlier one.

This one is another one of my “house” dreams. My house is getting bigger. It is big enough that there are areas or rooms of it that I seldom visit.

One day I was just checking through it for doors or windows that were possibly left open or perhaps some other issue that needed attention. You know, just checking things out.

In so doing, I saw several very shady looking gentlemen hanging out near one of the entry ways. They were inside the house. These guys looked scary.

I knew them to be demons and so I commanded them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. I spoke directly to the one that was closest to me.

The problem was that because of fear or doubt or lack of Holy Ghost Power, it was hard for me to get the words out and I stuttered.

Demons do not just go because you tell them to. The full authority of the Potentate in you must be proved to them.

Fortunately for me my Helper spoke up through me invoking the Name of Jesus Christ and commanded the demons to leave causing the one closest to me to move back into the others that were standing behind him and forcing them all out of my house. Dream over.

Do you see where I am going with this? Well, ok, here is another dream. I dreamt this one last year. I must admit that while I did write it down, I am just now beginning to understand what it means.

In this third dream, I dreamed that I was in a professional level real estate appraisal class. It was a class that I preferred not to have been in.

I have a friend sitting next to me encouraging me and keeping me awake.

Chuck is in the class and offers to lend me $20. When he opens his portfolio, I see that there is much, much buck (money) in it.

The teacher is a stickler that students must attend the entire class.

This class usually requires a case studies.

I must pass the class to advance.

Teacher announces the next case study (I am now first at the door for the exit) which is a home that is surrounded by an ocean of water. Dream over.

Emblems, Demons and Casting Them Out

Initially in this dream, I saw a lady who was in possession of an emblem engaged in a negotiation with a man who was interested in buying it from her. My first thought was that she should counter his first offer.

Then, another man came on the scene and showed an interest in buying the emblem. He was a flashy dresser and already had several very pretty emblems around his neck.

He was very anxious to buy the emblem that the woman had and gave the impression that price was no object.

Next scene: the lady started to complain of pain in her abdomen, left side. She said that there was something moving in her abdomen. She was obviously in great pain.

I asked her if I could pray for her and so did. She had showed that she would work wholeheartedly with me. She was enthusiastic about it. This was a strong sign of her faith. I laid my hand on her body where the thing could be plainly seen to be moving. I could feel it moving.

I rebuked the thing and commanded in the Name of Jesus Christ that it die and be flushed from the body of the lady. We prayed very aggressively against the thing, she, and I.

Soon I notice that the thing was not moving. Shortly after that I notice that it could no longer be felt. I pronounce her healed of that disorder.

There is still the problem of the emblem. Largely emblems can be more problematic than we know. Many of them come with a spirit.

The truth is that the lady in my dream may have been in possession of a thing that did not want to be evicted (in that it was connected to the emblem) and so raised a fuss.

Did you know that even the cross finds its origins in pagan traditions? I am not saying to toss you Cross but do consecrate It by prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. See you Pastor about this.

If I were to give advice to the lady in the dream as to what to do with the emblem, it would be that she consults a metallurgical engineer to melt the thing down.

WHEN I CALL YOU BACK

I had this dream about 4 o’clock this morning. I was walking with a lady in a neighborhood in an urban setting. 

As we walk a woman appeared to us seeking help and saying that there were two people dead in an apartment. She led us down about half a block and into the home. 

The status or location of one of the people was not clear in the dream or not clearly remembered by me. The other person however was unconscious or dead. It was obvious that there was a gas, carbon monoxide or natural gas present. 

In the dream I could see the gas in the air showing it to be floating above what was the normal atmospheric air. I knew that we had to work fast and asked that someone would cause some ventilation. 

Focusing on the dead or near-death person after having learned her name, told her that I was going to call her back in the name of Jesus and that when I did, she would come back in perfect health with no ill effects due to any earlier conditions or any caused by the gas. 

After giving her the brief instructions, I called her back and she awoke quickly. When she appeared, her countenance was radiant, and she appeared brand new compared to the way that she looked before she was asked to wake up or come back.

AS HE WENT (healing baby girl)

Last night (this morning) I dreamt that I was off to get a haircut. I was walking to a nearby community and had to cross over several city blocks. 

I came upon a marketplace where a vendor was placing his wares along an alley way. His merchandise looked like barrels or bales of hay. 

As he positioned them lined up down the alley, I found myself getting in his way. We entered a discussion and he invited me to visit his home, practically insisting that I come. 

When we got to his house we walked in and past his son that was busy doing some domestic stuff, getting something out of or putting stuff into a dresser. 

We continued down a hall and to a room down some stairs. There was a bed in that room and two people lying down on it: the man’s wife and a daughter of about ten years old. 

I could see that his daughter was sick and got permission from her dad to pray for her. I explained to her that I would be praying for her in the name of Jesus Christ and asked her if she believed that Jesus could and would heal her. Her answer was in the affirmative. 

I told her that the Healing Power of Jesus would feel like electricity working in her body and not to fear. 

As I approached her, a demon manifested, doing what demons do. This one stuck out its (her) tongue at me in a belligerent manner. Demons are most often (if not always) the cause of illness, oppression, infirmity, mental illness and the like and should be dealt with first.  

The Lord lists this first on his to do list of signs that will follow believers. I rebuked the demon and commanded it to leave the child (I cast it out in the name of Jesus Christ). 

I laid my hands on the child and commanded the illness to leave her and felt her relief as the disease left. 

The child set up on the bed. I asked her if she was healed, and she said that she thought so. I looked over at her father and told him that I was sure she was healed because I knew it when the oppressor left her. 

There are several interesting aspects of this dream, one of them being that the father seemed to know that I was the vessel that God would use to bring healing to his home, and he unhesitatingly took me to his sick child. This was evidence of his faith coupled with the Word of Wisdom. 

As we go, He (Jesus Christ) is right there working with us “confirming the word with signs following.”

WRESTLING BEYOND THE DIMENSION OF THE ENEMY

Last night I dreamed I was to be involved in a wrestling match. I was there, the opponent was there, and the referee was there. 

When the referee signaled for us to start to wrestle, I asked him where we would be wrestling. He said, “right here,” pointing to the floor. When I looked at the floor, I saw a badly worn wrestling mat. I had not noticed it initially. 

I told the referee that I would not wrestle in such a place and demanded a better (nicer) format. The opponent did not say a word. 

In addition to the opponent, the referee and myself, there was also One Other Person nearby looking on from a sound or control booth kind of room. He remained silent. The dream was over. 

I was deeply convicted in my spirit and understood the message that was being conveyed to me by the Lord. 

That badly worn wrestling mat has been in use since the time of Adam and Eve. The opponent’s standing by silently is yet another sign of how he (the devil) uses what may be his best weapon, subtlety. He had had many victories there. 

My demanding of another time and place for this match is symbolic of today’s Church and her unwillingness to stand boldly in all circumstances. It is like we do not know who (Whose) we are or Who lives in us. 

We, the Church, should (in modern vernacular) when told to jump should say, “how high?.” 

We are assured many times in the Bible that we are to be victorious in all things. Here are a few Bible instances: 

And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands. (1Samuel 17:47) 

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. (Romans 16:20) 

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17) 

 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13) 

Given the end-time events of the day such as COVID-19, widespread apostasy, unusual weather, immorality, and such like, I am of the mind that the Rapture of the Church is desperately close. 

But since “no one knows the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power” it is incumbent upon us to start to behave not only as a Confident Church but to proceed as if we are in The Bootcamp of the Millennial Army of God because, we are. 

The Lord has charged us to make known to principalities and powers (the devil) in heavenly places the manifold wisdom of God. We are to pull others out of the fire. We are to trample underfoot the young lion and the dragon. We, being given to God and resisting the devil causes him to flee from us. He will flee to seek safety. 

As we go, we knowing that Jesus Christ is working with us, shall cast the devil out of folks and lay hand on them to see them healed. 

 The Dimension from which we work is not available to the devil for it is from Heaven and of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. 

The devil and the gate of hell is not able to withstand onslaught of the Power from the same. 

Being thoroughly baptized in the Holy Ghost and taking the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit we are strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 

We are able and instructed to and must be willing to steam roll over all the power of the enemy even as an all consuming fire. Nothing shall by any means hurt us.

THE DOOR

About a week ago I had a dream about a door. Not just any door, it was one of the entry doors to my house. 

In the dream, the door had plumb or square issues. It would not properly close into the frame. Typically, door dreams speak to openings, openings for evil spirits. Given this, though, attention and evaluation to current situations and events are in order. Open doors to opportunities for the good of the Kingdom of Heaven are also real possibilities. 

As with all dreams, prayer is in order. We should always petition the Lord as to what He is teaching us each time we have a dream. 

I thought it to be interesting that a minister friend of mine told of a recent dream he had about, yes, a door. 

He said that he had a dream in which there was a door and that there seemed to be something dark or demonic about the door. He said that once he was able to get a glimpse of the other side of the door that all he could see was a blindingly bright light. 

This one was an easy decision. The dark and menacing door was, in fact, demonic and an obstacle to the Marvelous Light. 

In addition to prayer for help understanding a dream, doing a word study in the bible can also be helpful.

THE FRAGRANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

I have noticed lately that there is a fair amount of discussion about a fragrance, a very pleasant fragrance, being experienced by folks usually of the Christian variety. The stories range from false alarm accounts where what the person was smelling a timed released deodorizer in the bathroom to apparent bona fide occasions after intense worship, prayer, fasting or otherwise seeking the Face of the Lord had taken place. 

A few months ago, I met with a friend to share with him some things that the Lord had shown me about ten years ago having to do with God’s purpose for him. The dynamics of the meeting were powerful as it was led by the Holy Spirit. The interesting thing is that I kept sensing this fragrance. I hesitate to use the word “smell” as I do not feel that applying a natural sensory perception does this supernatural manifestation justice. 

The Fragrance was strong, and I did not know at the time what (Who) it was I thought that it was the deodorant that I had recently began to use. I had not had a deodorant before that carried such a strong scent and did not want to walk around smelling like that. 

I added deodorant to my Costco shopping list, and I thought that that would be that. But “that wasn’t that” and I still experienced the Fragrance. Then as now, about two or three times a day He reminds me of His presence with a gentle spray of a sweet and for me unidentifiable and undeniable scent. It is as if I am surrounded with It as It falls upon me afresh. I know it is His way of reminding me of His promise of when he said “I will never leave you or forsake you.” 

I wish that I could say to you that the Fragrance of the Holy Spirit is like this or like that, but I just do not have a frame of reference that I can point to. I am comfortable saying that if you know yourself to be called of The Most High and are earnestly willing and obedient, it may be that His Enabling Power has come close to you and is even as “The Spirit Upon” for Kingdom Service (such as The Spiritual Gifts) whenever and wherever needed. 

The following scriptural passage should help: 

And the Lord said unto Moses, take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:
And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure, and holy:
And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy. (Exodus 30:34-36)

THE OFFICE BUILDING

This one is interesting. I have not even begun to unpack (interpret) it.

It appears that after a team meeting we all went to view an office building that was possibly to be acquired by us. We found the building to be located on a hillside overlooking the city. I don’t know what city. As it turns out, I was familiar with the building as I had been there at least one time before for a real estate closing. The building was vacant.

As we arrived and walked toward the building we could see that the cleaning man was just finishing up and about to leave. He did, however, seem puzzled as he saw us walking up as we were perhaps three or four adults, a couple of small children, a couple of clowns and a lion (I may have to uppercase the “l” here later).

He (the cleaning man)  was  having no part of letting us in. As we walked around the building we could see that it was in a state of disrepair – sort of rough around the edges. In fact, when we got around to the back of the building we saw how that part of the back side of it about eight feet square was  able to be slid  out from it so as to allow entry (remember this is a dream).

The building was of concrete block construction. We view it briefly from just inside the referenced opening. The dream was over.

Some dreams are reasonably vivid and gives the impression that they must be logged. This is one of them. I fully expect to do a follow-up to this dream. We really do want to know what the clowns mean, don’t we?

Last week about this time I was right in the middle of a Healing and Deliverance class in Durban, South Africa. Instruction was being given regarding casting out devils and commanding bodies to be healed and made whole in the name of Jesus Christ.
Healing and Deliverance Ministry should be available in every Christian Church inclusive of the work being done outside of the local Assembly.
The instructor Val Wolff posted some pictures and so I am inserting them below. That’s me in the blue shirt.

Last night I had just a quick vision. What I saw was a hand handing me money. It was a fist full of assorted denominations of paper bills.

The dream was over.

ANGELS at the AIRPORT

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. (Hebrews 13:2).

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?  Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? (Hebrews 1:13-14)

In a previous post to which I will insert a link at the end of this one, I tell you about a dream that I had about ten years ago in which the manifestation is contemporary.

I tell you about a friend that I call Daniel who is working on a residential development in the DRC (Congo, Africa). Detail of the project were revealed to me in much detail in the dream.

Before Daniel and I departed from each other after having lunch as referenced in the previous post I prayed for him a prayer of exhortation, protection, grace and favor in the name of Jesus Christ.

Well Daniel left last weekend to return to the Congo but did called me from the airport to  tie up a loose end dealing with a detail that I shared with him as I saw it in the dream that conflicted with the plans that he had shown me.

I literally told him that the detail wasn’t what I saw and probably would be changed. He told me that since we spoke last that detail had in fact been changed. When God shows you something in a dream it becomes as faith. So we walk by it, not by the apparent reality of things.

I know, you are probably saying by now “I thought he said something about angels”. Well I did.

In my conversation with Daniel when he called me from the airport he was excited to tell me about something that happened. Apparently he arrived late for his flight at RDU and the lines were long. He said that he expressed to security that he was concerned about missing his flight and queried him as to a way to have his check-in expedited.

Security was no help and told him that he had to wait for his turn. By then, standers-by had noticed his concern. He said that one particular gentleman indicated that his wife could help and that he would call her, in which he did.

He asked Daniel to walk with him down to where his wife was, apparently way closer to the front of the line. He said that once in place with the lady (wife) he looked for the gentleman and had did not see him anymore. By now the security person was down by where he was in the new place in line and told him that he would have to return to his place near the back of the line.

At that time, the lady spoke up and said that Daniel was with her party. The way I understand the story is that this satisfied the security person monetarily. It appears though that when the security person checked in on him again the lady (man’s telephone wife) was now no where to be seen.

By now, I knew exactly what had happened (when you walk in the Spirit, you expect to see the Supernatural happen). Still, though, what to do? Well, this time yet another couple spoke up and said that Daniel was with them.

Long story short, the airport that Daniel called me from was the connecting airport. The Angels had run interference for him at RDU. Having the Angels minister to/for him was likely part of what I prayed for him when we met for lunch.

We should always pray that the Lord will have the Angels to help us out in a time of need:

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.  (Luke 4:9-11)

Do Your Job

Early this morning I had a dream. The setting of the dream was that of an office or workplace. The boss or supervisor of the business had found fault with the production and called for some improvement. 

The format or process of production needed tweaking and he wanted us to work overtime to initiate the new protocol. My job was to oversee and ensure that things were set in motion and to assure that there would be success. 

As I passed by the boss’s office, I saw that he had not gone home yet and that he wanted to be sure that we were getting the job done and getting it done right — before he left. He was seated at his desk with his feet up on it. 

I said to him “Sir you can go on home; we will get this done right.” He removed his feet from the desk, stood up and left. 

What does it mean? Here are a couple of scriptures and I will meet you on the other side with the interpretation: 

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (1 John 3:7-9) 

And to make all men see what the fellowship of the mystery is, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (Ephesians 3: 9-12) 

This dream is symbolic of us (The Church) not doing a particularly good job thus far pertaining to finishing the work of The Lord’s “destroying the works of the devil.” Further, as we complete this task we should go “making known to the enemy the manifold wisdom of God“. 

We should do our job and not have Him micromanage our every activity. His instructions are clear! 

Besides, remember that He said this: 

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14: 1-3). 

Let us do this!

I KNOW FOR SURE! A DREAM COME TRUE

About ten years ago I had a dream about a fellow that attended the same Church that I attended. Let’s call him Daniel.

In the dream I saw Daniel in Africa. Africa is his home continent. I saw him entering a compound (generally, a group of homes or living quarters that are grouped together with a boundary or fence around them). Compounds are known to be common in Africa.

The impression upon my head was that he was someone of some, if not great renown. I saw that he entered the compound from the north. I saw an ingress/egress on the south side of the complex that was directly across from the north side entrance.The compound was rectangular in shape with a west to east length that was double or more the width. The property slopped down from the west to the east and there was a stream that ran parallel to the east end of it.

Daniel entered near the eastern end of the compound. There entered with him his entourage.They proceeded to what I saw as the living quarters for Daniel and his group. Said quarters were found about three-quarters down on the south side of the compound.

I was impressed also that there was an element of evil associated with the stream or that was to approach from the east side of the compound.

The dream of long ago was over. At some time reasonably close to the time of the dream I shared it with Daniel.

That was ten-or-so years ago. Fast forward to now. About three weeks ago I received a call from Daniels’ wife. Let’s call her Tiffany. Tiffany and I use to work with the same company, and she needed some industry related hep.

During our conversation, I asked her how Daniel was doing. She said to me that he was fine and that he was currently in Congo (The Democratic Republic of Congo). She said that he was working on a project there.

The thought of the dream that I had long ago about him being in Africa came to mind at once so I asked her if he had mentioned the dream to her. She said no, so I went ahead and told her the dream.

As I began to tell her the dream, she listened attentively but stopped me abruptly and asked me to wait while she got something to write with. She told me that what I had just told her and how I described the setting exactly described a new gated housing development that Daniel was working on. We were both very excited that the Lord was revealing to us that He was/is playing a part in the matter.

I asked her to have him to call me so that we could catch up and, of course, further discuss the dream and get further at what God is doing. About two weeks after my conversation with Tiffany, Daniel returned to the states and called me. We arranged to have lunch for the following week.

Prior to meeting with the Daniel, the Spirit of the Lord came upon me and anointed me for the meeting. I was impressed to attend to first things first and needed to clarify with Daniel as to why the Lord was doing what he was doing. I knew it was about Kingdom Business and pertaining to Daniel’s calling or ministry, so I asked him what his ministry is.

While I feel that he was pretty sure about how God intends to use him he said that he wasn’t sure. I told him that I felt led to tell him about how God would use him and cautioned him to seek further confirmation from the Lord. I told him that he is to be a giver and more specifically a giver that will be used to fund Churches. But not in an ordinary way. I told him that his checks were to be in the $100,000 to $1,000,000 category. That just as an example.

By now Daniel is recording this Prophetic Utterance that is coming from On High on his iPhone. I advised Daniel that it is important to remember that this whole process is about God and that God only is to receive the Glory. I advised him as to his responsibility to discern what is and what isn’t good ground as he sews into Kingdom Work — that he should look for people, who like him, has a heart after the Lord.

It was about then that I asked him if I could borrow a pen. I wanted to sketch out what I saw in the dream to present it to him. I had already described it to him verbally. Once I completed the sketch (on a paper towel) and showed it to him, he reached for his Residential Development Grid Design Map (a layout of his plans) and it was for the most part exactly as I had described and drawn.

He felt strongly that he should keep the paper towel drawing and that it should be framed along with his official plan.

So why is God orchestrating these events like this? Well, one of the things that Daniel brought up was that he felt as if the Lord didn’t want him to borrow money in order to complete the subdivision. By the way, the home that are to be built are to be like those that are built here in the USA with prices apparently starting at about $400,000.

I know that God has done at least two things here. Daniel knows that the Lord has his eyes on him and he should be assured that he needn’t be concern about funding of the project as the Most High will see that funding is done. I admonished him that he should move forward with all confidence and told him, that his bank account has the backing of Heaven. Pretty sure that that was the Holy Spirit talking.

As for me, the dreamer, the Lord has recently given me some instructions and some mandates. He has shown me some visions of some of the things that I must needs to do. By allowing me to participate in this Word of Wisdom, Exhortation and Prophecy toward Daniel and having shown me these things to come ten years in advance I am given a gentle nudge and great assurance that I should move forward with my assignment doubting nothing.

Round Turn and Two Half-Hitches Knot-Frayed Knot

Last night — actually, first thing this morning — I dreamed that I was trying to tie a knot. It was the knot that is referenced in the subject of this post. There are at least two dream symbols in the subject.

I suppose that this knot is primarily use by boaters but certainly there are other applications. It is an easy knot to tie and solid in terms of meeting the typically desired result.

Essentially, you tie the rope around and around a post (for example) and then under, around and through the rope, and again. Yea, “what did he say?” Well, just look at this and remember to hit the back key when done.

Here is the thing. The rope that I was using in my dream was frayed. As I tried to complete the tying of my knot the frayed part of the rope kept getting in the way. I needed a longer rope. I did not complete the tying of the knot in the dream.

Did you hear what I just said? “Tying of the Knot”. Search that one out on your own time!

As I studied this dream out (which was not my initial intent), I ran across this definition in Vocabulary.com:

The word fray is all about friction. A frayed rope has been rubbed so much its fibers are wearing away. People experiencing friction are involved in a fray, or a noisy fight.

This is one of those dreams that I seriously thought to dismiss upon it’s occurrence but the clarity of it was a sure sign that I should pray and ask God for the interpretation. It certainly pertains to my personal life and was sent for guidance. It requires further meditation and prayer on my part.

If you are reading this, then this is a very important lesson for you. Namely, we must take all of our dreams seriously. This applies especially to those that come so vividly to us. We must isolate out the dream symbols. Ponder and research them. Consider how they relate to our lives, past, present and future.

This particular dream was so simple, so filled with dream symbols and so important for my well being.

Dreams are the most important and most squandered of our communications from God.

Blue Hands, A Dream Come True

In December of 2017 I posted the following two dreams Blue Hands and Healing Hands. I had no doubt that the Lord was showing me in advance that the Healing Ministry is my assignment.

In Blue Hands, I pointed out that I was somewhat puzzled as to what Blue meant. I was equally interested to fine out what the two other colors that happened to my hands in that dream meant — those colors being Yellow and White.

Well, as you might imagine, I did receive the revelation as to what Blue, Yellow and White likely symbolized in the dream. I posted Blue, yellow and white in September, 2018.

“Dreaming is seeing” which is a great title for a blog post in the not to distant future. What I would like to do now is bring this all together for you.

Last week I attended the Divine Healing Technician Training. It is a training that is rooted in the training and ministry of John G Lake who was a great Christian Healing Minister of the early 20th century. Notable to his legacy are the Healing Rooms network. Another is John G. Lake Ministries of which Curry R. Blake is the General Overseer. It is hard for me to imagine anyone unpacking the Truth from the bible the way that Curry R. Blake does. No compromises here — just Truth.

The JGLM copyrighted image to the left is one of the very first things that I saw when I signed in to the seminar. You will note that there is a Blue Hand on it. For all intents and purposes, it looks just like the one  that I saw in my dream.

Can you imagine my excitement and joy in the confirmation by the  Holy Spirit that I am correctly navigating  the assigned course toward being able to display my compassion toward the sick and oppressed as per the Great Commission that is outlined in the Book of Mark, Chapter 16 verses 17-18.

There is more, but that’s all that I will say for now except, don’t get to heavily invested in hospitals.

The Five Most Important Dreams, Ever!

The earth has likely been around for eons. The earth in her current state is about six thousand years old. Chapter one of the book of Genesis  in the Bible tells of what is commonly referred to as The Creation. A better way to describe what occurred is a restoration as a careful study shows that what is conveyed is that the earth became “void and without form”.

The Bible tells us that at the time of the most recent restoration of the earth that God found it to be a ball of water existing in complete darkness somewhere out in the universe. We know that the devil was already in the earth as he showed up shortly after the creation of Adam and Eve to beguile them. In little or no time, he had had become the ruler of the earth.

Adam and Eve had handed over to the devil that which belonged to the Lord. This had to be undone. What to do? Man was found to be unreliable so God started the process of doing it Himself.

Even so, God had to work through man because of the way He set the world up – giving man dominion and all. So, just as He had restored the earth by voice command (Utterance) he set about regaining control by speaking. He spoke through man. But, more was needed.

Using mortal man was helpful to God in in moving closer to coming back into ownership and management of His property the earth. Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses and the prophets are examples.

Operating in the earth in a legal fashion, as a man, required a more robust strategy. He had to become a man. These five all important dreams laid the groundwork:

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 1:20).

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. (Matthew 2:12-13).

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life. (Matthew 2:19-20).

But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene. (Matthew 2:22-23).

Why all the drama? Well, God knew that He couldn’t just send the Saviour into the world without getting some pushback from the devil. Because … from the beginning, it was known that the intent of the devil was to devour the Seed of the woman Who was to bruise his head.

Every precaution was necessary to protect the coming of He Who was to become the Anointed Saviour of the world. We see from the above scriptural passages how God through dreams advised Joseph that he should not concern himself with fidelity matters as they pertain to Mary and advised the wise men not to kowtow to Herod. He further advised Joseph to relocate to Egypt and await instructions the murderous intent of Herod.

God later directed Joseph to Israel and Galilee (Nazareth).

In theory without the referenced dreams salvation of all mankind would not be a thing.

KNOCK, KNOCK – JUST A QUIET SATURDAY MORNING

Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.
Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.
Again, he measured a thousand and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again, he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.
Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. (Ezekiel 47:1-5). 

And it shall happen afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. (Joel 2:28-29). 

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) (John 7:37-39). 

 

During the first week of February 2019, I had a dream in which it seemed like a quiet Saturday morning. I and a couple of my family members were just talking, getting coffee, and working on breakfast – you know, Saturday morning stuff. 

Our house was built on an incline or down-sloping hill. As I looked out of a side window, I saw water rushing down the side of the house. A great rain event had occurred. The level of the water was high and was a cause for concern. 

Just as I was communicating my concern to my family, there was a knock on the front door. I had some concern as there was already water coming into the house between the threshold and door. I nonetheless opened the door to let the person at the door in after discovering that It was someone that we knew. 

I opened the door and pulled the person in fast and closed the door. By then the water was a foot or more deep inside the house. The dream was over. 

The above scriptural passages came to mind. The onslaught of Water near and in my house is none other than the Holy Spirit. 

Further, increasingly I am coming to understand that a “house” in a dream oftentimes is referring to one’s body, a spiritual house as it were. 

Noteworthy, too is the fact that many theologians agree that the end time is at hand. Is eminent. The outpouring of the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) is to be expected right about now. Signs and wonders are become manifest.

Dark Speech in a Dream

Paying close attention to our dreams and not hastily judging that a particular dream is one that you prefer not to share with others or is otherwise worth considering is a mistake. Always remember that God speaks to us to a great extent by symbols in dreams and visions. 

We should always write our dreams down and go back to them from time to time to review them and receive additional light and revelation from them as will often be the case. 

Dreams are not unlike a Rhema Word. A Rhema Word is alive. It is a living thing proceeding from the Mouth of God. So are dreams – the worthwhile ones. They are chapters added to time – implanted in as God sees fit – foreordained before the foundation of the world. 

So, you see, this ever so important phenomena that we refer to as the dream might well be the most squandered of the Spiritual Gifts of God, The Holy Spirit. And yes, I said Spiritual Gifts, for incorporated within the dream are often Words of Knowledge, Words of Wisdom, Discerning of Spirits and so forth. 

It is important now though, that I tell you about my most recent dream. On January 14, 2019. In the dream, I found myself loitering around in a furniture store. The store was on the basement level. I did not work there but I was going around from one piece of furniture, having a hardwood-stained surface, to the other. 

I was waxing the furniture. My intent was to obtain a perfect finish to the pieces, and I know this to sometimes be difficult. Again, I did not work there so was unauthorized. Once my scheme was exposed, I found my way up the stairs and out of the store to the street in an urban setting. 

I was nicely dressed in an expensive suit and conducted myself haughtily as I made my way to my car. There were folks going about their business present on the street. Some of them were sort hanging or “chilling” as they say. 

As I arrived at my car, I found the passenger side door wide open, and the trunk (boot) was as well. I thought, “someone has broken into and striped my car.” I approached it slowly and found it to be intact – you know, with all the seats, electronics, wheels, and stuff still in place. 

As I proceeded to button the car up to get away from that place before the perpetrators arrived back, but they got back before I left. They were not done. There were three of them. They saw that I was back but still desired to finish what they had started. 

While two of them waited in their car, the third one approached my car and I confronted him from the inside of it and at the passenger side window and grabbed him forcefully in his collar. The dream was over. 

Wow, huh? I was ready to chuck this dream. Now you see why I introduced this post such as I did. We must learn to pay attention and let the Lord further expound as to what He is trying to convey to us. We should ask God to give us light regarding every dream that we have without fail. 

While I am sure that the waxing matter and the attempted car vandalizing and the three bad guys and the haughty attitude etc. all have symbolic meanings, let me tell you what I do know and did learn from the dream. 

My car in the dream was a late 90’s model Lincoln Mark VIII (photo inserted below). I did not know the details about the car other than it was a Lincoln until I looked it up on Google. Once I was able to view the car that was very vivid in the dream, I was able to know that it is a Mark VIII, it was easy for me to figured out at least one of the things that the Lord was trying to show me. 

He was instructing me to read from the Book of Mark, Chapter Eight. The number eight in Biblical numerology means new beginnings. Aside from that, though, what I found as I read the chapter is that despite miracle after miracle done in the seeing of the disciples there was a lack of comprehension of the same. 

The disciples had difficulties transitioning to a spiritual position of faith. The Lord admonished them to focus on the things of God and not the things of the world, to pick up their cross and follow Him, to deny themselves, to be willing to lose their lives for His sake and for the sake of the Gospel. 

He said, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (vs. 36) 

In Mark 8, Jesus feeds the 4000 people with seven loaves and few small fishes and had seven baskets of leftovers. On another occasion he fed 5000 folks with five loaves having 12 baskets of fragments left. This was because they were concerned about having brought only one loaf with them on their most recent trip. 

Long story short; Our Lord and God is All Sufficient, intimately attentive to our needs, loved us to death and will return shortly in the Glory of the Father and with the Holy Angels.

The Wind and the Sun

Last night when the Father gave me this dream, I thought huh? what? 

Here it is. What I initially saw was a vessel (vehicle of sorts) that looked like the Wright brother’s airplane. The creator (entrepreneur) of the craft was doing some initial testing of the design by harnessing available wind at the ground level. 

As the wind blew the craft began to move. Because the initial experiment was in an urban area there were starts and stops to avoid buildings to change direction for farther forward movement. 

It is at this time that I came upon the scene and encountered the gentleman that was working on this project. As we discussed his endeavor, he began to show me what looked like solar panels and he explained to me that he expected to harness energy from the sun that would cause his contraption to soar. The dream was over! 

Yep, like I said, huh? what? 

Did not seem so simple initially but the interpretation of the dream is quite simple; the Father was talking about Himself in the Form of His Spirit and His Son — the wind and the sun. 

I originally posted this on Oct 27, 2018, and now here it is a year and a half later (4/13/2020) and the Lord is giving me Light that the Solar Panels are my inner man having been built up in my most Holy Faith by praying in the Spirit (Praying in Tongues). 

The Father wishes us (the Ecclesia) to consider and put into perspective all His Attributes for a more complete walk and relationship with him so that we may soar Spiritually. 

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

What about The Trance

Dreams and Visions are most accurately defined as a communication from God. They and their interpretations are His domain. The mention of the terms, dream, dreams, dreamed, dreamer, vision or visions occur in the bible more that 200 times. God uses dreams and visions to give assignments to His servants. Warnings and other information necessary for the advancing of the Kingdom of Heaven are many times disseminated to the people of God by way of dreams and visions.

All dreams and visions broadcasted by God are directly or indirectly for Kingdom purposes. Aside from the dreams and visions from God, there are dreams that are sourced from the demonic realm and those that derive from the souls or flesh of men.

There is, however, a similar phenomenon used by God and similarly counterfeited by the devil. It is the Trance.

The word trance, found in Strong’s Concordance, comes from the Greek word ekstasisa. A partial meaning of the word is “throwing of the mind out of its normal state, alienation of mind, whether such as makes a lunatic or that of a man who by some sudden emotion is transported as it were out of himself, so that in this rapt condition, although he is awake, his mind is drawn off from all surrounding objects and wholly fixed on things divine that he sees nothing but the forms and images lying within, and thinks that he perceives with his bodily eyes and ears realities shown him by God.”

There are four instances of the trance found in the Bible. Two occasions by Balaam the prophet in the book of Numbers and once each by Peter and Paul in the book of Acts.

A Fish Out of Water

Last night I dreamed that I was down at the coast. I was on some sort of platform that was adjacent to the water – a dock of sorts. I am not sure about whether I was fishing or not.

Suddenly there was a big (really big) fish up on the dock and it was trying to get me. It was big enough that if It would have been able to maneuver around a little better I would have been a goner. It’s mouth was big enough to swallow me whole.

I recall striking the monster fish on it’s lips with an object. I was fighting for my safety.

Some of the symbols in this dream are obviously the fish, why it was out of the water, the dock, why was the fish trying to absorb me, the limited ability of the fish to move, the actual location or setting means something that needs to be deciphered and there are other considerations as well.

As I believe the dream to be of the Holy Spirit, the essential question is how does it pertain to my calling to promote the Spiritual growth of the Church.

Well that didn’t take long! Two nights ago I got a call from a publishing company. Stone something or another; a nice fellow by the name of Marcus D calling to let me know that my book, Utterance, Speaking in Tongues and Spiritual Gifts had come to his desk recommended by several book scalpers to have good success potential. They (Stone) were going to help me to get the book exposure and even have it displayed at the London Book Fair. There was even talk that perhaps a traditional publisher would pick it up and offer $35,000 to $250,000 signing bonus.

All indications are that the company is a scam.

Thank you Holy Spirit for the “heads up”.

Blue, Yellow and White

In a previous post I talked about a dream that I had in which during my visit to a church while I spent a moment seated in the foyer the palms of my hands began to change colors. 

I said that initially they turned blue, and I mentioned how they also had texture that was like a low cropped fur. My hands then turned yellow and after that they turned white. Lastly, my hands returned to their original color and texture. But now there was power in my hands. I know now, too, that the more appropriate way to voice this is to say that there was Power through my hands. 

I pondered the meaning of the colors for some time and am now satisfied as to what they symbolize. Biblically speaking, blue is thought to be symbolic of Jesus Christ, Healing and Authority. Blue is the most frequently mentioned color in the Bible.  

Yellow is symbolic of Fire (Holy Ghost Fire) for purifying, burning away impurities and for Anointing and/or Power.  

White is representative of Purity, Glory and Brightness and thought to symbolize God the Father and Godliness. White is the third most referenced color in the bible behind red. The presented interpretations should not be considered a complete list of those possible for the referenced colors. 

So, you see, healing and delivering folks by the laying on of hands brings the Whole of the Godhead into their lives. The Authority, Power and Glory of God leaves no crevice for illness, injury, or demonic spirit to hide or abide with them.

LIEGE revisited

Several years ago I had a dream or perhaps a vision in which the only message was the word LIEGE.
Now this is a word that at that time I was not familiar with so I did what any self-respecting dream enthusiast would do – I googled it. So, as a side note do know that Liège is a province of eastern Belgium. Formerly ruled by independent prince-bishops, it became a part of the Netherlands in 1815 and of Belgium in 1830. It is situated along the Meuse River.

Now as you probably know, Liege speaks to a relationship between a Lord and His servant or Vassal. More specifically the concept is relative to Feudal Law and the responsibility that the two parties have to one another. On the surface, one is likely to think of the “Lord Liege” as the dominate party in the relationship and this is reasonable as the Lord is the one with the stuff.

As we further consider this relationship, though, we understand that the Lord is expressly dependent upon His vassals (liegeman) to help Him run things. They are mutually reliant upon each other. The word liege is both a noun and an adjective in it’s use.
Feudalism is also described as the dominant social system in medieval Europe, in which the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants (villeins or serfs) were obliged to live on their lord’s land and give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection.

So where am I going with all this? Well it was not difficult for me to ascertain that what my Lord (Jesus Christ) was showing me in this dream is that we are in a mutually beneficial relationship. Specifically He was demonstrating that He needs me (and you if you are in Him) to understand His responsibility in our relationship and He not only needs me to hold up my part but that I must be sure to hold Him responsible to do is His part.

So let’s be clear; Jesus Christ is Lord and God. He is Sovereign. I am just telling you what He told me. We must know what his responsibilities are to us and hold Him responsible. We too need to know what it is He needs of us and move forward in those things. Do know that our relationship with him avails to us all the resources of heaven inclusive of heaven’s military.

Sheep and Lambs

This dream starts with me being in a city’s downtown area. It was raining and there were portable shelters available. They were like umbrellas. I was able to move one to an area that I chose to stand. I was waiting for public transportation.

While I waited, I noticed that there were Christmas decorations present there in the city, so I took some pictures of them with my mobile phone to send to a friend who lives in California. It was then that I noticed that my phone was broken. Half of it was missing and the face of it was gone exposing the inner workings.

Fast forward. I am now in a country setting. Feels like Colorado. I approached this farm/ranch house to see if I could use the phone.

As I approached the house and was walking up the long walkway the sons of the owner came up behind me and one of them picked pocked, my wallet. He was not a particularly good pick-pocketer though because I realized right away what had happened and was able to wrestle my wallet away from him.

I continued and entered the home where I met the owner/father and after telling him that one of his sons had just lifted my wallet. His reprimand to his son was quite mild. I explained to him that I needed to use his phone.

Now I am again at the front of the property where there are two groups of sheep. They were in two distinct stages of development. One group was to be delivered inside of (onto) the property and the other was to be taken away by me.

There appeared now a third party who was to take the in-going sheep into the premises. The outgoing sheep were to be transferred to the vessel in which the in-going sheep were once they were taken out. I asked the Third-Party Person to be sure that the vessel had plenty of water when He brought it back to be provided to the sheep that would be taken away.

Interpretation (partial):

The Rain is the presence of the Holy Spirit. The shelters/umbrellas are spiritual covering. I am transitioning from one Spiritual covering to another. The mention of public transportation speaks to the sometimes fluidity of life in the Spirit.

The lambs and sheep are the people all saved but at various levels of spiritual development.

I expect more revelation relating to this dream and will bring it to you when it is received. It might do some of you a world of good to know why the Lord started this dialogue with me in the first place. I may be shedding some light on that as well.

Not In MY Neighborhood

This dream was communicated to me by a young man who along with his brother is in the process of starting a new church. He says that the dream started with him walking out side of his house and looking into the sky where he saw an eagle flying overhead. He said that he turned around and saw fighter jets and a big military plane with paratroopers jumping from it.

The paratroopers started to uproot new plants or bushes from the property. He said that he approached them and asked them who was in charge and what were they doing. He was told that some other man owned that property and that they (the brothers) were not allowed to plant there.

This dream is a warning by the Holy Spirit to these prospective preachers that the area where they are planning their church has a demonic presence and that don’t want no church there (yes, no church).

Kenneth Lewis

Last night I dreamed that I was conducting an inspection of some type at the home of Kenny. Kenneth Lewis is known to me, hence Kenny.

When I arrived at the home there was another person on the property also conducting some kind of inspection. Rather than disturb that person I elected to go around the block and give them time to finish up and leave.

No one answered the door to let me but I was somehow able to gain entrance to the exterior grounds of the home where I needed to work. When I was done, I thought that jumping the fence would be the easiest way to get out and thought to do it.

When I approached the fence I heard dogs barking and upon looking over the fence I saw that there were actually parallel fences with a space in between for the dogs to run. There were several dogs. Dogs of all sizes. They were not to friendly. I was trapped. on the property.

As I walked around within the interior of the fence feeling concerned about my situation I noticed that there actually were people in the house. Kenny’s wife and several children were in a raised patio area of the house and invited me in. I explained my reason for being there and asked them to help me out. His wife was a younger lady and very nice. I am not sure why but it appeared that the family was blended with the younger child being fathered by Kenny.

As we talked I happened to notice that there was easy egress from our location and so I thanked them for their kindness and head out through what was an elevated exit. The dream was over.

Remember, whenever I get the name of a person in a dream whether I know them or not, I always pray for them as the first order of the post dream business.

35th Place

Streets and roads etc. generally use a naming convention that describes the nature of the road. For example, street usually means a public way that has buildings on both sides of it. They run perpendicular to avenues. 

Place designates a road or street that has no throughway—or leads to a dead end. 

Last night I dreamt that I was returning a car to a friend and was instructed to park it at a certain address on 35th Place. As I parked the car, I was approached by a person of Asian descent who questioned whether I was parking the car at the correct address (was I sure that I wanted 35th pl). In the past I have made the mistake of going to an address on 35th Street or Lane or Road. You see where that is going, right? 

The dream was over. I pondered the meaning of the dream. A dream can carry more than one meaning or interpretation. As soon as I picked up my Bible this morning, I knew that the Lord was instructing me to read Psalm 35. 

Lately, I have been migrating closer and closer to the Lord. I am experiencing greater communion with Him and receiving just a flood of illumination, revelation, and inspiration. 

I am moving into a season where I will be sharing a lot about how God ministers to his darlings through dreams. My work regarding Speaking in Tongues and The Spiritual Gifts goes on as well.

The dreamer submitting this dream tells how the dreams begins with him sitting and working on a keyboard instrument. A piano or typewriter – yes typewriter. He says that as he worked toward the right side of the instrument he encountered a peg sticking in it restricting movement past a certain point.

He says that while he pondered the dilemma a person of some authority (we all know who that is right?) came to assist and removed the obstacle. He was able to complete his work and was assigned to sit at a desk in a section of the room that was to the left of the area in which he was previously working.

The Helper encouraged him to complete his work as there would be many people that would benefit by the work in which he did.

I Can Do That With My Eyes Closed

Last Friday the nice gentleman who cuts my hair told me about a dream that he had. We talk a lot about the things of the Bible when I visit with him. He is not yet Filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues.

He said that he dreamt that he was in circus-like setting (atmosphere) and that Tongues came pouring out of him. He said that he recalls laying hands on a woman, a magician of some sort. The Tongues came pouring out and he felt as if he were not in control of his body.

Additionally, he said that the ringmaster was nearby.

He said that he also remembers speaking to the lady in a very stern way and admonishing her that the Lord is saying that His people need deliverance, and they are not living the way in which He intended.  These words were, too, pouring out of him.

I believe that this for my friend is the genesis of his Spiritual Development to a higher level of Baptism with the Holy Spirit, Speaking in Tongues, Spiritual Gifts and Ministry of The Great Commission work.

His actions in the dream were Speaking in Tongues, and Interpretation of Tongues which, as you know, equals Prophecy.

Symbolically, the circus is the world, the woman is the church, and the ringmaster is the Satan.

The prophetic utterance is a reminder to the Church of Her charge to conduct The Great Commission (Mark 16: 17-18).

STRINGS ATTACHED

Yesterday at Church the Pastor talked about a dream that he had relating to his wife. He dreamed that he was having spiritual warfare with two invisible entities. These spirits were waging an attack on his wife, and he was doing his best to fend them off.  

One of the foes was more aggressive than the other and Pastor fought furiously with it, even to the point of biting it. While the battle went on the second demon maintained a more restrained position (for some reason).  

Later in the discussion we surmised that the dream had something to do with Pastor having encouraged his wife to move forward with some ministry endeavors that she desired. Ministry that the enemy preferred that she did not do. Pastor was desirous that the congregation would pray regarding the matter. 

Upon hearing the dream, I suggested that we should pray without delay. So, we prayed, rebuking the devil, and proclaiming victory in Jesus Christ over such devices or harm intended by their spiritual wickedness. 

Immediately after having prayed, one of members present announced that he had a vision during the prayer and would tell of it. He said that he saw in the vision that Pastor’s wife had had many strings attached to her like those of a puppet. He said that he then saw a Hand from Heaven begin to cut the strings, freeing her and releasing the burden of the strings. We rejoiced in our hearing. 

But there was more to come. Immediately thereafter another person from the Church came forward with a prophetic word addressing the matter.  

She said that she had had an impression of having seen a large spaceship. It was modular. It was burdened. She related it to some contemporary cartoon or similar media. Point being, Pastors wife was able to begin to “push buttons” jettisoning some of the modules eliminating the burden to fly freely. 

This is a clear example of God allowing danger to be revealed in a dream so that prayer could be offered to bring about safety. He did also graciously show that the prayer had been answered.

Help A Brother Out

Last night I dreamt that I was walking down a stream (river) with a couple of other people. The water was moving fast and there were some obstructions. Suddenly, one of the guys got into trouble and was forced under the water and was having difficulty re-surfacing. The other person that was accompanying us said to me “grab him and get him out”. 

Helping a drowning person can sometimes be a dangerous proposition as they may lay hold of and incapacitate you and your efforts to help. He appeared to have washed under some tree branches and I was unable to see him. I felt around for him and once getting a hold of him I grabbed him quickly and shoved him up on the opposite bank. He lives to see another day. 

Interpretation: while walking in the Spirit, I was able to discern that a person needed help. The Third Person present (The Helper) instructed that I help. There was no time to waste. Can you say victory in the Holy Ghost?

Dreams can be natural or supernatural. Some are inspired by God while others are generated by the devil. Beyond those which are produced by man’s physiological and psychological conditions, the rest are supernatural in origin. If one’s mind has been open to evil spirits his night dreams become for the most part just another form of the “pictures” he encounters during the day. The wicked unseen powers create pictures in the day and dreams in the night. To determine whether or not his dreams derive from the devil the believer simply should inquire of himself: is my mind usually passive? If so, these dreams are untrustworthy. Moreover, dreams and visions which God inspires enable man to be normal, peaceful, steady, full of reasoning and consciousness; but what the evil spirits precipitate are bizarre, rash, fantastic, foolish, and render a person arrogant, dazed, confused, and irrational (Watchman Nee, The Spiritual Man).

Barley Bread

“And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along. 

 And his fellow answered and said, this is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host. And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, arise; for the Lord hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.” (Judges 7:13-14) 

The above scripture is just one of many instances in the Bible where God used symbols to communicate with His people. In this case, Gideon, a “show me” kind of fellow was given added assurance that he would succeed in his assignment against the Midianites. 

Somehow this is my favorite dream story from the Bible – there are many to choose from.

For some time now I have had this recurring dream. The dream had to do with the home that I was living in. The house in the dream was a one-story home. It had many rooms; 15 or so. 

A couple of the rooms I almost never visited. We did not keep those room secure like we should have and on a couple of occasions would find that there were persons taking up occupancy without our authorization. 

One side of the house was exposed to the back street or alley and seemed to always be left unsecure. 

I have pondered this dream several times. Of late, though, the Holy Spirit has dealt with me about this. Sin, He says is an open door. 

There are things that we do that seem harmless but provides portals that allow the wicket one to enter our lives. Not returning a borrowed item on time is an example. Making a promise that you know you do not intend to keep is another. The list goes on. 

Broken windows are problematic also. I am going to get the locksmith and the glass guys on over here to secure this building.

THIEVERY

On September 05, 2016, I dreamt that a thief was caught in the act of thievery. Fast forward to another scene in the dream and, I am suggesting to a preacher that he should step down (resign his position as Pastor). 

Meanwhile, I hear the Lord saying that “the thief is to be the new preacher.” It appears to me that the Lord is intent on doing some house cleaning and the thief in the dream is symbolic of one of the thieves that died on the cross next to the Lord. The Lord found his heart to be in the right condition to enter the Kingdom (Paradise) the same day as their crucifixion.  

“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou come into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23: 42-43) 

“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:5) 

I discern that my mandate here is to admonish the Shepherds to heed the Great Commission Instructions (Mark 16) just as they are spoken by the Lord and train their sheep in them before their candlesticks are taken away. 

Additionally, woe unto you of the Seminaries around the world that are turning out candidates in the name of Jesus Christ which are not Baptized by the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues. I say this with Authority. 

Speaking of admonitions, I am aware of what the bible says as to how we should regard preachers (Men and Women of God). 1 Chronicles 16:22 makes this abundantly clear and if that was not clear enough, Psalms 105:15 confirms the seriousness of this matter. Both verses read:  

“Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm.”

HEALING HANDS

Following the previously posted “BLUE HANDS” Dream I fell asleep again and had yet another dream. It was my hope to know more regarding the earlier dream. Having a “continuation dream” such as this is rare. 

The dream starts out with my being a janitorial person at a school or some similar facility. My job is to clean the rooms after each session. 

I am new in the job and not doing a particularly decent job. My supervisors are not pleased with my performance. They are, however, patient with me. 

At that job there was another worker, a lady, who had the gift of healing in her hands. 

Let me just say here that any gift of healing aside from that of Jesus Christ is not one that I would discuss. 

To continue the story, though, one of the other folks working with us was having some physical difficulty and asked the referenced lady if she would lay hands on him. She agreed to and when she did, I saw a physical reaction to the energy that was released into him, and he confirmed that he no longer had any discomfort. 

Upon seeing this I recalled my previous experience with the “laying on of hands” and thought to give it a go. I touched the person who was my immediate supervisor on the head and said, “be blessed.” He convulsed mildly he smiled approval and an attitude of peace. I did the same thing to, yet another near-by worker and they too had the same reaction. 

There was another one of the workers asleep in a bed. Remember, now, this is a dream! I proceeded to touch him, and he displayed that same gentle bodily convulsion and peaceful smile while continuing to sleep. 

What does it all mean? 

The bible tells us in the book of Mark 16:18 that one of the signs that would follow the believer is that they will lay hands on the sick and that they will recover. 

I personally hope and believe that these dreams are prophetic. I thank God for them.

BLUE HANDS

I had this dream on the morning of 12/01/2017. I dreamt that I was driving to Church on a Sunday morning. I believe the setting to be Atlanta, Georgia. 

This was a church that I had previously visited but there was a tricky turn, and I ended up on the wrong road. As you know, we sometimes do irrational stuff in dreams as did I when I parked the car and started to walk; walking up to a Church that was not the planned one. 

 I entered the Church foyer and requested information. I sat down in the foyer next to a man and shared hellos. As I looked over the material that I had received, I noticed that the palms of my hands had turned blue. There was a texture to the blue. It was like a thin hairy or firry covering. 

To be sure I was not seeing things I asked the gentleman sitting next to me if he saw it and he said yes. At a second glance my hands had turned yellow (or amber, the color of fire), which we both saw. Then the color of my hands turned white and then back to their normal color. 

Next in the dream I was walking down the sidewalk back to my car. The nice man from the church was walking with me. As we passed two people walking in the opposite direction, I was led to touch one of them and found that there was power in my hands, which was evident by the physical reaction of both as I touched just one of them. 

 The dream was over, and I was awake. The time is about 6 AM. In a “first ever” I endeavored to go back to sleep to know more about these “Healing Hands.”

FOLLOW ME

I had this dream during the first week of this month. It was as if I were a football player; likely a running back or pass receiver as I was running down the field with the ball. 

The opposing team was in hot pursuit behind me to destroy me, breathing down my back. 

Suddenly the Coach appeared off to my left side (putting me on His Right Side) and he said to me “hit the locker room I want you to stop everything else that you are doing and follow me.” He threw me a towel. I tossed the football off with my left hand and appeared in the locker room where I cleaned up and headed out. 

I now believe that the towel represents a mantle. 

I at once moved to another scene in the dream where the Coach was still moving (He is always moving) at His constant pace and I ran behind Him (following Him). 

While thinking on the dream, drafting (running in the vacuum of no resistance) behind Him was added revelation. 

He is worthy of all Praise.

This is an easy one! I think. 

Last night (first thing this morning) I had a dream in which it was like my car was being stopped by the authorities. There were at least three of them. The impression given was as if it were an inspection or evaluation of sorts. 

So, these nice folks looked at a few documents and the general organization of things and seemed impressed at the good order in which they found my business. 

Somehow, though, one of them picked up a bottle of LEA & PERRINS WORCHESHIRE SAUCE and began to examine it. When I noticed what was happening, I chimed in that “oh that, I’ve been meaning to throw that out because I don’t know how old it is or if is still ok to eat.” I was unable to find a “use by” date on it. 

When we all agreed that it was, in fact, a good idea to go ahead and get rid of it, I was free to go. The mood was a positive one as we parted company. 

Clearly as I matriculate into a new level of purpose it is important that I take inventory and discard those things that are not meat for that new assignment. Quite sure! 

I love this dream business. If you pay attention, you win fast.

Swirl Painting

So, Swirl Painting! 

I do not recall ever hearing the term before but, last night there it was in a dream and vividly; you know, in color. This dream must be for someone. I have not adapted it for myself yet, though I may as I gain more revelation as to what it symbolizes. 

Here is how it went. Picture a map of North Carolina fixed in a wide flat pan. In it are several paint colors. The person doing the painting is holding either side of the pan out in front of them and gently moving the pan up and down and from side to side to move the paint in a color specific manner to for example, put green where they want it and yellow or brown or black in just the right place. The painting was complete. Fascinating, huh? Remember now this is a dream. 

There! Obviously by now you have some question as to my state of mind but, do not shoot the messenger. There is a profound revelation here and it will hit us soon just like the proverbial “ton of bricks”. Fairly sure. 

Oh! I forgot to ask the Lord what it means. 

I will do that right now.

Gentle Nudge that Was and Is

“Hi Mr. Thomas.

This is M we met the other day.

I had a dream, and it was very short. I saw the cross and was compelled to wake up. I felt a gentle nudge on my back. The Holy Spirit woke me up, so I prayed. I’m not sure what I was supposed to pray for so I prayed for everything I could think of.

What should I be doing?”

I received this letter from a new young lady friend the other day and responded to her as follows. For the sake to time, I will paraphrase my answer.

I believe the Cross that you saw is His (Jesus’) way of saying this step is covered and now is the time to move forward with (in) Power and Revelation.

As our sins were washed away by the Blood of Jesus. The CROSS is symbolic of our old man being crucified with him.

His Gentle Nudge is Him saying let’s move forward in the afore mention Power and Revelation.

From time-to-time God (The Holy Spirit) will awaken you at night to pray and will not say about what. These are occasions to Pray in Tongues.

Generally, pray in tongues in your own space whenever possible. Occasionally you will know what He is accomplishing (as His Spirit speaks through your spirit) but mostly not. Be sensitive to His moving and be obedient on all occasions.

Praying in tongues is a “catch all” way to pray as the Holy Spirit knows every situation requiring prayer but He requires a co-laboring Believer for this action.”

Last night I dreamt I had purchased a HOG (I think they still call them that). 

The bike, while new, had the little wheel in front like the old traditional chopper bike. There was this odd drape or mantle like garment that flew behind me. Over my head and over my shoulders. When I tugged on it there was greater power in motion. I am sure that revelation will follow. 

Worthy of note, is the fact that the little wheel on the front of the bike did not just roll as we went, but it danced. It went horizontal and parallel and just danced, danced, danced.

Well, anyway, I am riding along as happy-go-lucky as you please and I enter a neighborhood setting and encounter a group of young men that were hanging out in a park like place (vacant lot). Somehow, I found myself having a discussion with them when one of them pulled out a handgun and pointed it at me. 

Now, as I continue to mature naturally and in spirit and Spirit and Wisdom, I have little or no fear of dying as For me to live is Christ and to die is gain. 

So, I looked at one of the young gentlemen and said to him (as he looked to be more polished than the others and a leader of them) “aren’t you supposed to be in the Church helping the Preacher?” 

About that time the whole atmosphere changed in that encounter as this young gentleman was totally convicted as to his current activity and the spirit (Spirit?) of the entire group of gentlemen was changed to one of humbleness and reverence. The handgun was no longer present and now (right now while I am writing this) I understand how speaking by the Spirit can change people right on the spot. 

The dream was over, and my guess is that I jumped back on the bike and rode off into the sunset.

INCOMING!!!

Last night (early this morning) I dreamt that I was in a large city (either on a hillside overlooking it or in one of the high-rise buildings therein). I recall going to the bathroom and upon exiting I heard someone nearby say, “Oh my God”. So, I looked out of the window and saw bombs (missiles) falling and exploding all over. It was a horrific sight. 

That was the extent of the dream but as you know, there is a lot of tension in the world at this time and it is thought that the chance for a war (nuclear war even) is higher than at any time in recent memory. 

I will have more to say about this but wanted to get this out to you. 

You have heard me say this before, so you know that the first thing to do after having a dream is to pray. I have asked the Lord to be in control of this situation and desire that you will pray also that He will have the leaders in the world to exercise Wisdom and restraint.

More Clarity Regarding Understanding Dreams and Visions

As you might well imagine, I rely primarily on Bible related Dream stories as I endeavor to understand and interpret dreams. I find that dream symbols from the bible are excellent examples or models for us to use in interpreting our dreams today.

It must be said, though, that often in our dreams today the symbols that God uses are related contemporary things of our lives.

So, while the Bible is my number one choice as a reference guide for understanding dreams, I believe that the inserted book will be most helpful in helping you to understand what God is saying to you in your dreams. I have this author’s work in my private library.

“Kill and Eat”- Visions & Dreams & Trances & Angels & Voices, Oh My!

Not to mention the dream symbols found in this story. Long story short, Cornelius a righteous and giving Italian Centurion had a vision in which he saw that an Angel (which frightened him) had come to bring him a message from God that his giving and prayers had not gone unnoticed but had come up as a memorial before God. He was instructed to send for Peter (and told exactly where he would be) for further instructions. 

 As his men drew near to where Peter was residing, Peter fell into a trance in which he saw, as it were, a sheet lowered down from heaven that had all matter of unclean animals (Peter was Kosher you know) on it. God instructed Peter to “kill and eat”. 

Peter reminded God that he has never eaten an unclean thing. God admonished Peter not to call that which He has cleaned, unclean. He said this to Peter three times. Peter contemplated the vison as the vessel (sheet) was taken back into Heaven. 

So now, the Spirit advised Peter that there were folks at his door and that he should go with them “doubting nothing” as they were sent by Him. The men identified themselves as having been sent by Cornelius and were provided lodging for the night. 

The following day Peter and “certain brethren” of his went with Cornelius’s party back to Cornelius’s home (Caesarea) where Cornelius had invited a welcoming party that included his friends and relatives. 

Peter arrives and after some conversation with Cornelius he preaches the Gospel to these gentiles (the first gentiles to receive the Gospel) who are all saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues. 

This story demonstrates the vast richness of “dreams and visions” and all the associated intricacies including the trance, direct communication from God (via the Holy Spirit and Angels), dream symbols (the unclean animals representing the gentiles) and certainly several others.

MOST SWIMMINGLY

This morning I dreamt a dream that was a split screen dream. In one screen (stage left) I was in a coffee shop like setting with several other men and we were discussing how the recent river change was affecting their current living quarters. They all lived in a multi-level apartment building that stands by the river. The river had risen and some of them needed units that were on higher floors. My home was not in the building and so my concern was nil. 

The discussion then moved on to putting in our orders for something to eat later. One of the fellows was going for the takeout order. The day-of-the-week setting must have been Friday because I ordered fish and chips. 

In the “stage-right” scene, I found myself walking in a dry riverbed in the direction from which the water would normally flow. To my surprise water started coming down the river. Initially, I was able to sidestep the water and stay out of its way. Increasingly, though, the flow of the water became greater and greater. It was like the dam broke or a great rain had taken place up stream. 

Meanwhile (stage left) I was having a change of mind about the fish and chips. I had remembered that I already had fish at home. I was trying to get my order cancelled. 

I woke up and knew immediately what the dream meant; mostly, I think. 

Now folks, many of you know how that the Lord says that in the last days He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh and you know about how he says that rivers of living waters shall flow from them that believe on him. I propose to you today that the increased flow of the waters in the river in this dream represents a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit of God. 

Just as a note, the river is another way of saying the Holy Spirit, fish could be representative of in this case unsaved folks. I am sure that some other symbols are included here. 

The advent is at hand. We are walking on the dry riverbed, but the water is coming.

THE SAILBOAT DREAM

On September 22, 2016, I dreamt that I was out in a sailboat sailing on a river. 

There was a great stone (big rock) adjacent to the river and in the mist of some trees. 

We had word that the stone was about to explode. 

We were currently not moving as we had encountered an obstruction. The waters of the river were flowing nicely. 

I recall adjusting the kick-up rudder to clear the obstruction to be able to sail on. 

The Stone did explode as we began to sail and flow freely. 

As I have said before in this work, the interaction with God in the process is regular. This dream is a good example. 

The message (interpretation) to me is clear; the Stone is the Lord Himself. The river is that which flows from Him eternally (Utterance), the trees are the people (the Saints). The explosion is symbolic of the Spirit of the Lord being poured out on all flesh in this end time. 

The obstruction that was overcome by the navigation adjustment is symbolic of the Enemy. The navigation adjustment represents the Church (Ecclesia) adopting proper protocol where walking in (and by) the Spirit (of the living God) is concerned. 

Utterance is spoken forth through the Saints throughout all the World.

The Lord Of The Harvest

Dreamt I caught a thief taking something from me. 

Fast forward to another scene and I am suggesting to a preacher that he needs to step down. Meanwhile, I hear the Lord saying that the thief is to be the new preacher. 

It appears to me that the Lord is intent on doing some house cleaning and the thief in the dream is symbolic of the thief that died on the cross next to the Lord. 

The Lord found his heart to be in the right condition to enter the Kingdom (Luke 23:39-43). 

A word of admonishment to the Shepherds; “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent” (Revelation 2:5). 

“Therefore, said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers into His harvest” (Luke 10:2).

Back in early 2009 as we talked in the barber shop one of the barbers asked me if I had had any dreams lately. They know me to be a dreamer. Dreamers like discussing dreams and never miss an opportunity. I had had dream discussions with those people before.  

I responded to Harry (not his real name) that I had just had a dream that week in which I had seen an airplane crash (an airplane that had crashed).  

In the dream, in the Spirit, I came upon this crashed airplane from behind while it was still smoldering, and I could clearly see the tail section identically as it appears later in the news photos/videos. You will see the video that I will link to this post.  

I told this dream on one day and was able to boast on my next visit to the barber shop about how it had happened. 

What I have found is that it is so easy to pridefully boast and tell dreams to folks in anticipation that they would come true (and sometimes this is ok) but the real reason that God gives us a dream in the first place is so that we can get Him involved in it by praying and giving Him authority to intervene. Besides, you know what they say about pride! (Proverbs 16:18)

I have found that God has a way of revealing to us how He appreciates our obedience in this. Let me say this again; whenever you or I have a dream the first and most important things we should/can do is PRAY!!

LIEGE

Several years ago I had a dream or perhaps a vision in which the only message was the word LIEGE.

Now this is a word that at that time I was not familiar with so I did what any self-respecting dream enthusiast would do – I googled it. So, as a side note do know that Liège is a province of eastern Belgium. Formerly ruled by independent prince-bishops, it became a part of the Netherlands in 1815 and of Belgium in 1830. It is situated along the Meuse River.

Now as you probably know, Liege speaks to a relationship between a Lord and His servant or Vassal. More specifically the concept is relative to Feudal Law and the responsibility that the two parties have to one another. On the surface, one is likely to think of the “Lord Liege” as the dominate party in the relationship and this is reasonable as the Lord is the one with the stuff. As we further consider this relationship, though, we understand that the Lord is expressly dependent upon His vassals (liegeman) to help Him run things. They are mutually reliant upon each other. The word liege is both a noun and an adjective in its use.

Feudalism is also described as the dominant social system in medieval Europe, in which the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants (villeins or serfs) were obliged to live on their lord’s land and give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection.

So where am I going with all this? Well, it was not difficult for me to ascertain that what my Lord (Jesus Christ) was showing me in this dream is that we are in a mutually beneficial relationship. Specifically, He was demonstrating that He needs me (and you if you are in Him) to understand His responsibility in our relationship and He not only needs me to hold up my part but that I must be sure to hold Him responsible to do is His part.

So, let’s be clear; Jesus Christ is Lord and God. He is Sovereign. I am just telling you what He told me. We must know what his responsibilities are to us and hold Him responsible. We too need to know what it is He needs of us and move forward in those things. Do know that our relationship with him avails to us all the resources of heaven inclusive of heaven’s military.

10 Common Symbols In Dreams

Most of us have had dreams in which we are running, or flying, or falling, drowning or perhaps not being able to run or move when being chased.

Here are a few common dreams symbols along with their possible interpretations.

1.Serpents-while they could literally represent snakes, they almost always represent an action taken by a demonically lead/possessed person. The color and or size of the serpent that you see in the dream is likely to aid you in identifying the person early.

2.Babies/a baby-again could be literal but often represents a new project, or job or practically any endeavor that is in its’ infancy.

3.Unnamed, quiet, mystery helper, serving type person, an assistant perhaps to a principal or to yourself. May well and usually in none other than God Himself in the person of His Holy Spirit. This Person is most diligent.

4.Dogs-I once had a dream where this Rottweiler, a rather fearsome and vicious looking one at that, was shaking this baby as to shake it to death. I knew this “baby” to be a new church and the dog, the devil intent on destroying it. As the dog  proceeded to move on and to a point where I could see its’ hinder quarter, I observed that it was crippled and dragging the rear part of his body as he went representing the true condition of the enemy. He puts on a front but is defeated.

5.Basements represent foundational things. While things can be put away or hidden here, security and structure are likely the message.

6.Nakeness could mean that you don’t have any cloths on. I once saw this naked woman in a dream and she was quite distressed I knew her to be of low repute. It was revealed to me in the dream, though, that her dilemma was that she/it was a demonic spirit in a dry place as it had been forced out of her human house, a Christian who had been delivered from it. Seeing someone that you know as naked could possibility mean that they are deceased (absent from their body).

7.Trees of course could be trees but generally trees represent people and most likely folks of the church.

8.Eagle-See my Ben Laden post where I see the Eagle representing the USA. Want to see the USA in the end times? Here you go.

9.Storms-a storm is likely to have a close relationship to something that God is involved with. Remember He took Elijah up in a whirlwind. It was likely very stormy during Noah’s flood. Some modern day prophets are forecasting actual and symbolic storms for the US with the symbolic ones being speaking to the economy.

10.Water aside from being just that could also represent the Holy Spirit; being immersed in it for example could represent great spiritual growth. Drinking living water (John 4:10) as in being filled with the Holy Spirit.

11. The number eight is also representative of new starts and probably relative to the number seven which represents completion.

RUBIK’S CUBE

20 years ago, I felt as if I was not growing in my relationship with God. I was not paying much attention to Him, and I felt as if He was not paying much attention to me; so, I asked Him in prayer if He would work with me and help me to grow in Wisdom and Power and use me for Kingdom purposes. 

Shortly thereafter, the Lord appeared to me in a dream and opened before me a Bible. I should proclaim right here the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and that Jesus Christ is Lord and God. 

He turned a few pages of the bible and on either side of each page there was writing but on the back side of these pages they were blank. The Lord said to me “my son as you can see everything is not clearly revealed in My Word, but it is like a puzzle that must be unraveled.” In so speaking He placed a Rubik’s Cube on the pages of the bible, and he said, “I will now show you the mysteries of and help you to understand and search out greater Revelation pertaining to my Word.” 

Almost immediately from that time, I was led to seek out the Book Of Enoch the content of which takes your faith to another level. It is not necessarily an easy read, though, and being Holy Spirit led is essential. I have learned that Watchman Nee’s works are also important for those of us wanting to build up our spirit and faith. My level of communion with the living God is richer because of my request. The Lord is constantly showing me in dreams and visions things that are about to happen.

10 Important Facts About Dreams

Do you know that it might well be that the only reason God causes us to sleep is so that we can be quiet enough and not distracted by all of the stuff that goes on during the course of a day long enough for him to impart to us dreams and visions; important information designed to lead us, strengthen us, protect us causing us to most efficiently fulfill our purpose on the earth? Here are 10 important things for you to know about dreams; so as to not leave any double in your mind I will provide a biblical referenced for each:

1. Dreams are the domain of God Gen 20:3.

2. Interpretation of dreams is the domain of God. Interpretation can be imparted by referencing dreams with similar symbols from the bible, prayer and meditation and yes sometimes directly from God when requested Gen 40:8, Dan 2:28.

3. There are many, many basic dream symbols found in the bible some of which you may find in your dreams; here are a couple of my favorite my favorite: barley cakes and the sun and the moon. The list goes on Jdg 7:13, Gen 37:9.

4. Sometimes we cause ourselves to dream. These dreams may not be fruitful Jer 29:8.

5. There are likely three kinds of dreams: spiritual, those dreams given by the Holy Spirit; demonic, likely imparted by demonic entities through you soul (it appears that while the devil can communicate to your mind which may be his best weapon against us, he can not communicate to our spirits directly. Remember, though, the soul, (mind) does influence the spirit (largely by default because we didn’t judge every thought) 2Co 10:5. Thirdly, natural dreams, generally caused by or associated with ones recent activities as the so called subconscious mind (human spirit) reconciles them while the body sleeps Ecc 5:3, Ecc 5:7.

6. God used dreams extensively in the bible and largely foretold much of what has since transpired Dan 2:45.

7. Understanding our dreams require work on our part. When we work for something, we appreciate it more and gain greater reward Gen 40:16.

8. Dreams are a form of the “gifts of the Spirit” in that things that your have no natural way of knowing are revealed to you. This is called the word of knowledge  and is imparted to you by The Holy Spirit (God Himself) 1Co 12:8.

9.Dreams and visions are similar with visions sometimes being akin to reality or having real life experience. One is likely to feel suspended in time during vision Num 24:4.

10. Your Local Church is likely unwilling to do the work necessary to incorporate this most important gift form God into perfecting the saints of their congregations. Doing so is not an easy undertaking.

Naked in a Dream

Could mean “just that” or represent a deceased person or an evil spirit walking about in dry places. Our bodies are the covering (clothes) of our spirits. I once saw a naked woman in a dream and new that it had lost it’s house (clothes) as I recognized the person in the dream as having been delivered. See Luke 11:24; “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.”

Check out how quickly Joseph’s brothers and parents were able to interpret Joseph’s dreams. Was dream interpretation pretty commonplace in those days?

5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed:

7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.

8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

Genesis chapter 37. Joseph was one of the most prolific dreamers in the bible. As a side note and topic for another time, Daniel was once given the task of figuring out what Nebuchadnezzar’s dream was (God told him) and then offered the interpretation.

More than ten years ago I had some discomfort in my right shoulder that had persisted for some time. I am not sure exactly what caused it but likely it was due to having moved something heavy. The discomfort re-occurred when I exercised or lifted something that was more than slightly heavy. 

I specifically also remember much discomfort when I would raise my hands during praise and worship! 

One night in a dream I saw that a serpent had a hold onto my shoulder (obviously the spiritual cause of the problem). The Lord revealed to me that the serpent would be removed.  

Sometime after that I heard the Lord speak. He said to the serpent these words “loose him!” I began to feel yet more improvement.  

A few weeks ago, while I was on the way to church, I prayed to the Lord that our pastor and pastors all over would pray for healing in all their respective assemblies. Sure enough, our pastor did after having a show of hands as to who desired such prayer, had the members pray for one another, laying hands on each other.  

Long story short, I am now able to do my push-ups and pull-ups etc. and not have to reach for the Tylenol afterward. There is absolutely no issue with my shoulder no matter what I do. We can be sure that if God speaks something it will happen.

The Barley Bread Victory

This is perhaps my favorite dream from the bible (perhaps because there are so many good ones). Can be found in the seventh chapter of Judges. Gideon is the main character here. Gideon while obviously a man of God and referred to by God as a “mighty man of valour” and was working hand in hand with God in several tasks and engaged in some lengthy dialogue in Judges chapter six and seven but needed reassurance by God (The Angel of The Lord) and had the Spirit of God upon him was given the following instructions/encouragement by God regarding the task of defeating the Midianites:

9 That same night the Lord said to Gideon, Arise, go down against their camp, for I have given it into your hand.

10 But if you fear to go down, go with Purah your servant down to the camp

11 And you shall hear what they say, and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp. Then he went down with Purah his servant to the outposts of the camp of the armed men.

12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the sons of the east lay along the valley like locusts for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand on the seashore for multitude.

13 When Gideon arrived, behold, a man was telling a dream to his comrade. And he said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and behold, a cake of [a]barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian and came to the tent and struck it so that it fell, and turned it upside down so that the tent lay flat.

14 And his comrade replied, This is nothing else but the sword of Gideon son of Joash, a man of Israel. Into his hand God has given Midian and all the host.

15 When Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped and returned to the camp of Israel and said, Arise, for the Lord has given into your hand the host of Midian.
