And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you. Gen 40:8

The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. Dan 2:5

2. Pray. If given a name (sometimes you could get an unfamiliar name) or person pray as soon as

possible for that person. If unclear as to what the Lord is saying, “ask him”. The Lord WILL give you instruction (And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.Mat 2:13)and warnings (But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife. Gen 20:3) through dreams. Others will be warned in your favor, great disasters may be foretold so that preparations may be made. The possibilities and examples go on an on in the bible. It may be that the preferred way for God to communicate with/to us in through dreams.
