The dreamer submitting this dream tells how the dreams begins with him sitting and working on a keyboard instrument. A piano or typewriter – yes typewriter. He says that as he worked toward the right side of the instrument he encountered a peg sticking in it restricting movement past a certain point.

He says that while he pondered the dilemma a person of some authority (we all know who that is right?) came to assist and removed the obstacle. He was able to complete his work and was assigned to sit at a desk in a section of the room that was to the left of the area in which he was previously working.

The Helper encouraged him to complete his work as there would be many people that would benefit by the work in which he did.

Gentle Nudge that Was and Is

“Hi Mr. Thomas.

This is M we met the other day.

I had a dream, and it was very short. I saw the cross and was compelled to wake up. I felt a gentle nudge on my back. The Holy Spirit woke me up, so I prayed. I’m not sure what I was supposed to pray for so I prayed for everything I could think of.

What should I be doing?”

I received this letter from a new young lady friend the other day and responded to her as follows. For the sake to time, I will paraphrase my answer.

I believe the Cross that you saw is His (Jesus’) way of saying this step is covered and now is the time to move forward with (in) Power and Revelation.

As our sins were washed away by the Blood of Jesus. The CROSS is symbolic of our old man being crucified with him.

His Gentle Nudge is Him saying let’s move forward in the afore mention Power and Revelation.

From time-to-time God (The Holy Spirit) will awaken you at night to pray and will not say about what. These are occasions to Pray in Tongues.

Generally, pray in tongues in your own space whenever possible. Occasionally you will know what He is accomplishing (as His Spirit speaks through your spirit) but mostly not. Be sensitive to His moving and be obedient on all occasions.

Praying in tongues is a “catch all” way to pray as the Holy Spirit knows every situation requiring prayer but He requires a co-laboring Believer for this action.”

I asked a good friend to tell me about her dreams. I said that a recurring dream would be preferable.

She said that she has dreams in which she is in a house with like two or three females. She says that she is trying to escape.

She is hiding from someone. Always trying to hide. She hides in the closet. She always ends up by herself.

Here is what I think:

I have come to understand that a woman (female) in a dream can sometimes be symbolic of a demon spirit. It appears that they are trying to get closer to her. Looks like they are content though when she hides for she can do NO GOOD WORK when she is hiding.

I get the impression that these are unwanted and uninvited guest and that they need to be shown the door.

Ending up by herself indicates some level of defeat as there is strength in numbers. It may be that she needs a friend that is closer than a brother.

Hanging Out With The Hip Hop Crowd

So I’m in this social setting with a group of folks, some apparently higher ups in the hip hop culture (like I know what the hip hop culture is). These folks were probably promoters or the like. Well, anyway, mention is made that some well known artist is doing a presentation (JZ perhaps) and I said in jest ” can someone hook me up with some tickets” and just moved on to my next chain of thought. Well shortly there after, someone standing behind me handed me four tickets over my shoulder and caught me quite by surprise. I thought; “better start working on my dance moves”. I remember feeling guilty in the dream because I don’t much care about hip hop and frankly I think that it does great damage to our young folks. As far as I am concerned, we would be better off without it.

Upon reflecting about the dream the next morning I was concerned about even having such a dream. Later on in the morning, though while working on my Black Man On The Street website I am considering some RSS feeds to ad to the site I come across Black Enterprise as an option. I thought to go ahead with it and selected the Life Style feed initially. I thought better regarding that decision and decided to go with the Money feed instead. I believe that the dream and the decision are related.

OSAMA BIN LADEN

I had this dream in March of 2008. This one was in the form of a night vision. It was a two-part dream.  

In part I, saw a large Eagle (the USA?) swooping into a smoky skyline and bringing out a person (bin Laden).  

In the second dream I saw a smoking skyline of some city (New York?). This vision represents an event that may or may not be taking place after the Eagle event. The second dream could predict a subsequent (nuclear?) attack that we prevent by praying for our cities.  

THEY tell us the bin Laden is dead, but the Spirit says otherwise. 911 (The destruction of the Twin Towers) took place in 2001 and bin Laden was captured in 2011.  

I shared my dream at the time that I had it with a good friend, who contacted me immediately to say, “this is what you said”. The actual event was quite like the way I saw in the dream.  

Bin Laden is alive. Where is he? What will happen to him. The authorities can hide stuff from the people, but they cannot hide stuff from the Spirit.

“PUT IT BACK”

Last night I had this dream. I dreamed (dreamt). I will work that out! 

Anyway, I had presented this offer/proposal not exactly sure which to a company for which a girlfriend of mine works and had to do with the negotiating of the agreement. It appears (remember it is a dream) that our offer was low, and they kicked it back with a counteroffer which my client promptly addressed with what was likely to be an acceptable response. 

My previously referenced friend had her subordinate to work with us and we went into a conference room to negotiate. In the conference room there was another person seated back-to-back to me and he has some pants (cargo pants) on the back of his chair which I handled admiringly and notice the size to be 37×30. I remember this because this is like my size. 

I know however that because of the clarity of my remembrance of the size that there was something important about the numbers that I needed to discern. This morning I heard the Holy Spirit say to find a correspondence bible chapter/verse. This was easy because only three or four bible books have 37 or more chapters. Well chapter 37 vs. 30 of Psalms reads like this, “The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment”. 

I knew right off that the Lord was saying to me “put it back”. On another one of my websites, I had removed some admonishing comments that were previously added about some sinful acts and God says these words were wisdom and judgment spoken by a righteous person. 

Dream symbols are easily figured out if you do not mind doing a little work and will pay attention to instructions. Oh, and we must stop compromising the will of God.

This dream was submitted by a female acquaintance.

I was in a dark theater with husband. As we were waiting in line to see the show, a woman dressed like Malificent came over to us. She asked us to be a part of her acting group. She pointed to a large wooden door to walk through. I said no but my husband said yes and went through. I knew it was dangerous and said not to do it. All I could see was gross darkness behind it. I yelled out for my husband to come back and he could lot hear me. He was lost in the darkness. Afterwards, I started warning other people waiting in line not go in there and I told them about The Lord. When I left the theater, I saw the acting group on the side of the street performing. My husband was with them and seemed to like having the attention. Can you help with the interpretation?

Last night I dreamed that I went to visit a childhood friend of mine who lived across the street from where I grew up. His name is Willie Pope. The visit took place at his then home. So when I entered his home I couldn’t help but notice all the yummy goodies, cakes and pies and I guess fried chicken and the like. While there was much, I didn’t think much of it and proceed to leave. When I got to the door, I found it very difficult to close. The door just wasn’t connecting with the casing. Someone nearby (usually an un-named or mystery person helping out is the Holy Spirit) started to help but we couldn’t properly close it. So after I left the house I encountered yet another person who told me that one of Willie’s family members had passed away. Interpretation: as I have been burden about open/closed doors, I believe that the Holy Spirit has spoken to me regarding this. Secondly, whenever I get a person’s name (dream about a specific person) I know that at the very least I need to pray immediately for them.
